Can I file for FOIA if I want to know what files does DHS have on my A-file number?

Does anyone know how I can do this? I need help. Thanks in advance.

Jan. 30 - I-212 check fee was cashed (no case # stamped at the back) - no NOA1

Mar. 25 - Engagement

May 05 - I-129F - date of NOA1

May 12 - received I-129F NOA1 from CSC in mail

May 12 - I-129F touched

Jun. 27 - I-129F touched THREE TIMES

(RFE was sent on 6/23....)

- change of address updated

Jul. 04 - I-129F touched

Jul. 05 - I-129F touched

Jul. 10 - I-129F touched (On July 8, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.)

Jul. 11 - I-129F touched

Jul. 14 - IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/10 was received in the mail and mailed it back via overnight delivery

Jul. 18 - I-129F touched

Jul. 22 - 2nd IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/18 was received in the mail

Jul. 24 - 2nd RFE sent via overnight delivery

Jul. 25 - I-129F touched - status update: RFE received on 7/25

Anyone can file a FOIA request to get information from the government but it isnt free and it isnt quick either, I answer lots of them!!!!! You will have to find the USCIS FOIA contact person, perhaps the ombudsman for that office.

04/02/07 Back to Taiwan for visit and Interview

04/10/07 POE through Detroit

04/30/07 2 Year Green Card Received

Lifting Conditions

01/10/09 File I-751 at VSC

06/24/09 Received 10 year GC

Citizenship

07/27/10 Filing Date for N-400

08/03/10 Check cashed - as of 8/26 never received NOA so made InfoPass

08/31/10 InfoPass for Biometrics

11/10/10 Interview Date, Passed

Then you probably need to have a consultation with an attorney to review your facts and get some advice.

Thanks guys,

We will call our lawyer on Wednesday to hire him for my I-212. We were told by CSC today that we need to resubmit my application with the original one. I hope this helps and solve our problem. (sigh)
