Great news, Amanda!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Amanda, glad to hear that hubby is working, how is he liking it? 70 deg, wow! and then it jumps down to 30 deg, that's quite a climate change there.

Vanessa, those digital thermostats can be a pain, does it happen to be on a timer for the heat to turn down?

Yes it is and I've tried to re-program it but it always reverts back to the 62 degrees.

When things like that happen, Vanessa, I always call my Dad! Because when something messes up, it straightens itself out as soon as I call my Dad & when he comes over it works fine. :)

Goodmorning everyone, its freezing here in Kansas. The heater is a must for the car. I was just thinking for the second car we buy for Ahmed when he gets here he will have to have a heater working or he will freak out its so cold. I can picture him in a winter parka and a cap to cover his bald head...lol

Great news Amanda on your hubby getting a job, im sure that takes lots of pressure off of you and him. Have a great day everyone.

Happy Wednesday everybody! It seems like I am able to check in about once a week nowadays. I hope everybody is well and that the visa process is moving for those still waiting. Everything is good here, just working really hard and doing the mommy and wifey stuff. I don't have a lot of computer time except for working but I like to still check in from time to time.

Amanda--I'm so glad to hear that your husband has gotten a job. That is really great news!

We have a wind advisory here in my part of Ohio. We have had about 50 mph winds and it is very cold...right around the high 20's with a little snow off and on. I work with some counterparts of mine that are here from Wisconsin and they aren't able to fly home tonight. Apparently, Wisconsin got hit pretty hard with a lot of snow and blizzard like conditions. Be careful to all that are in the bad weather areas.

Take care and I hope to be in touch more often.

We're having really bad wind gusts up here in MI, too. It's bitter cold and it's starting to snow. :( I'm so not ready for all of this. BTW, I love the new pics of Malek. He's looking like a big boy. :luv:
