Should we add another column for Oath Letter, before Oath ceremony date?

I'm checking my mailbox every single day and don't know how long it will take for the Oath letter to come

:(

I'm in the same boat. An OL column would be nice but I don't know if it will fit. Also, I don't see much benefit to a ChkCashd column and would rather see a priority date column. Not much help to us at this point but perhaps useful to future filers.

I had my interview today in the Hialeah, Miami office. It was long and stressful, lasting almost an hour.

Everything was going well until the examiner asked me if I had my 10-year green card and I told her that my i751 app (filed in December 2008) had still not been adjudicated. She looked in the computer and at one point said that no one had touched my case after biometrics and she didn't know why; then she said it looked like they had me down as a no-show! By this point I was fighting back tears but tried to be calm and explain that I had been to that same office for many Infopass appts and been told that my case was in process and I just had to wait; frequently called the USCIS line AND had received two stamps in my passport from the same office while I was waiting, and that I hadn't moved since 2003. I was definitely NOT a no-show!

Since they rarely adjudicate removal of conditions at that office, she didn't know what to do to process that case; and without my permanent residence approved, she couldn't process the naturalization app! Eventually she left the office (presumably to get some advice, came back, asked me some questions about my marriage, took a copy of our 2009 tax return and some photos I'd brought along, just in case, then moved on to the naturalization part of the interview. I can't remember all six questions (I was SO stressed out by then!) but I know she did ask:

How long do senators serve?

Who serves if the president and VP are unable to serve?

How many supreme justices are there?

In the end, she gave me the N-652 saying I'd passed and was being recommended for approval. I asked when the next oath ceremony was and she said they usually have them once a month but had no date yet for April. She told me not to worry, that they would get my I751 sorted out and that she would call me personally if there was a problem.

I'm relieved to have come this far but I won't REALLY exhale until I get the letter with the date. It's been a long and bumpy ride for me, but I'm happy to be in the final days of my relationship with the USCIS.

To others in my position, a word of advice: Don't presume that your interview will be as simple as other VJers'. Although we are told "No problem, we'll adjudicate your I751 at the naturalization interview if it hasn't been approved by then" it certainly CAN be a problem if the examiner doesn't usually handle those types of cases. Bring evidence to prove the validity of your marriage with you, just in case you need it.

Thanks for sharing your experience... and sorry to hear about the trouble the I-751 have caused. It is always good to prepare for such events and I think in your case you had a lot of effort showing with the passport stamps and the infopass appointments.

Although you are still feeling not done, but a congratulations is in order and hopefully you will hear soon from the IO with good news about your I-751 and your oath!

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

Did u guys get a status update when you receive your oath letter. My mailing address is different from my permanent address. I have been checing my mail box for mailing address but nothing yet. My permanent address, the family i stayed with then have travelled so I dont know if they got it, They should mail it to a mailing addrress right?
