nice to not throw money away on rent

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Congratulations

Specially with the current market, you can stretch your funds to get a house that you like compare to having to fight multiple buyers inflating the true price.

Cheers!!!!!!!!!

Ha, don't know about your immigration status, but don't forget about notifying them. Living in a house was a new experience to my wife, didn't take her long to learn how to press the garage door opener and be able to walk in the house without walking through the rain. But still having problems convincing her we can turn up the volume a bit without disturbing the neighbors. Lawn mowers, snow throwers, chain saws, rakes, etc., were all new to her, but she adapted very quickly to planting flowers.

That sounds AWESOME!!! I too was raised on a farm and would love to live in the countryside again but I doubt my husband wants to leave the city, needless to say I am a bit envious of you..... :)
