Hi there just collecting all our info for the Package 3. Just to clarify can someone please give me an example of what we need for the evidence of support? I have about $2600 in my US account and my Fiance has about $1000 in hers will this be enough? She also has a pernament job in the US and can provide pay slips/stubs.

The letter from her employer what should it say exactly? or does anyone have an idea of the jist of the letter?

How many copies do I need of everything for the Package 3? I am getting mixed messages from different people

Many thanks in advance for your replies

I would suggest going by the instructions for the i-134, which is what the sponsor will be filling out: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-134instr.pdf. Look in the Supporting Evidence section under General Instructions.

Each embassy website shows what is required for P3. Here is the info for London: Look here http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/iv/iv_15.html. Look under "The Visa Forms" for the number of forms to be submitted.

Every embassy may have different requirements, nonetheless the fact remains. As part of the evidence of financial support, the one required to provide documentation and proof is the petitioner. I-134, bank letters [this should show date of opening, balance], last year tax return [i send two just in case], employement verification letter with date hired, position and salary, full time or part time bases..

hope this can help you...

I'm sure the requirements for the i-134 follow the instructions for the i-134, regardless of which embassy we're talking about. You cannot go wrong by following the officially published instructions.

Many thanks for all the replies :)

I'm just nervous we won't meet criteria for funding and then I would be crushed! Fingers crossed ey :)

You DO need to meet poverty guidelines based on an annual salary earned by a US citizen. This can be proven either with your SO's salary (via proof described in the i-134) or with the aid of a co-sponsor. You do need more than $$ in the bank. Immigration wants to be sure that any immigrant being admitted to the US this way will not become a public charge.
