Hi all;

i am asking this question for a friend of mine.

He recently became a US Citize and wants to sponsor his brother. His brother is married and has two kids.

I understand he has to submit form I-130 and G-325A, along with copy of his citizenship certificate, his birth certificate and his brothers birth cirtificate with english translations showing same mother.

Now the question is does he need to file one person fee for I-130 or 4 peoples fee

G-325A does he need to submit seperate copies for each person meaning his brother, brothers wife and the two kids or just one.

Any help will be appreciated.

Even if he wanted to do 4 petitions he is only eligible to petition for his brother... A USC cannot petition for "in-laws" or nephews or nieces... So he can only do one I-130... I assume your friend understands that it is a minimum of 10 years for an available visa number... (longer if resident of Mexico or PI)

payxibka;

Thank you for the reply, and yes he does understand the timeframe. So he has to submit the I-130 for his brother and only one fees and does he also have to submit the G-325A Biographic info.
