I contacted congressman and they wairing for replay.

I've received a lot of good advice here, but that was the best. We had a huge wait as well, with no feedback from the USCIS after several contact attempts resulted only in empty promises to get back to us with the nature of the holdup. It took about a week for someone in my congressman's office to determine that we were in AR, and find out where in that process we were currently at. Even after that, she touched base with us every couple weeks until we were through. Just being treated like a human and reassured that our case hadn't fallen behind a desk somewhere was an almost unbelievable relief.

I agree-I called my congressman last Thurs-Friday morning I rec'd a call back. Apparently my petition was pulled for some sort of AR(whether that is true has been under debate from many here on vj). Either way as upset as I have been, it was reassuring to hear "something" rather than here the canned response from USCIS. If you have been waiting 6 months, maybe you should contact someone.

What can I say, you are all absolutely brilliant and have made me feel so much better,

Daisy- all my next stage stuff is done and dusted and ready to go, my daughter has access tomy bank account in the states so as soon as the IV bill gets to her, she can have it paid, like yesterday, plus she has certain forms already filled in. Fingers crossed we are through the next stage quicker than this or I will be needing a zimmer frame to get about

I have one question for all of you good people who are keeping my spirits up,---

Donna(my daughter) emailed CSC over three weeks ago and they did not reply, now I have been told from them that I am not supposed to email because I am the beneficiary (did it once and got a telling off )

However, would you take the "bull by the horns" or what ever part of the anatomy you can get hold of :o

and email them again yourself, in my case myself :P

Feeling better and it's my husband's birthday today, so even though he doesn't come on here, Happy Birthday to simply the best hubby ever. (L)

Will we get a response this time???

last time my daughter e-mailed CSC (about 4 weeks ago ) she did not even get a response, so she e-mailed them again last night, so let's see what happens, if nothing then I think it is time for her to get on to her representative, to see if the application has "been lost"

Need loads of MOJO our way please

I don't know what to say...............I called my congressman-he called & found out we are under some sort of review. I am going through vsc & since they are processing cases rec'd 30 days after mine, I could launch an investigation(if that's what you want to call it). I am sorry I don't have any other words of wisdom for you.

My fingers are crossed for ya!!! This is all so damn stressful

Hope you get your good news real soon
