Hey everyone,

My I-129f was received on August 17th and ive still not heard back regarding my NOA2. Im starting to get really paranoid.

It seems some people who applied around this same date have heard back and we still havent.

Any advice? Or is it just sit back and wait??

Many thanks

Rhys

No advice other than to try to relax - you're just past the 'average' time frame for when you filed - which, to me, means it will very likely happen any day now. (Nothing magic you can really do at this point any way - the petition is still within USCIS's guidelines so calling will likely result in frustration on your part; best to avoid that at this point.) Hang in there...

You've had no touches since you sent back your RFE response in September? I'd be writing a congressman, if you haven't already.

Originally we filed in April. Got an RFE. Manuel and I sent our RFE back on October 2nd. We hadn't heard anything either. We got in touch with our congressman within the last few days. The congressman's office checked into it, and today when I logged onto the USCIS website, we finally have a touch! I don't know if it was a coincidinky or not, but it sure doesn't hurt to to get in touch with your reps if you are outside of the processing timelines.

And I totally understand how hard it is too wait if you are close to the timelines. (Believe me, I understand) But if you are still that close to the average processing times, it should not be that much longer. (When we first started I checked everyday on USCIS website. Drove myself crazy.)

Good luck to everyone!

Kathy

Ours is July 23rd and no touches or anything yet. Just hang in there, it seems that there is no telling when it will get done.

Hey there! I didn't hear back about the NOA 2 for a long time but then the next few processes went really quick. Although I did have to phone up the National Visa Centre to find out what's happened.

Would reccomend at the moment getting the police certificate for immigration purposes done, getting all the Evidence of support i.e. bank statements, pay slips, letter from company and if you have a co sponsor from them to, make sure they are originals. Then when the Packet 3 eventually comes in you will have pretty much the majority of stuff you need to send it straight back. minus the forms you need to fill in.
