I am thinking of getting Magic Jack and trying that.

vonage would work good just as magicjack and tk6000 as long as you have a highspeed internet connection in the PI. I think i will get the tk6000 as it is a one time fee for 100 (4 payments of 25) for life! Go to www.tk6000.com or www.nettalk.com. It is pretty cool..can be used like a magicjack or without a computer too.

vonage is good if you like to spend $$$. as others saying magic jack or tk6000 are better

vonage cost 300 a year vs the other two costs 20 a year or even free. I sent my in laws in phils a magic jack and voice is landline quality!! just as good as vonage but without paying the monthy bills.

We sent the vonage box to Ailene's famly in Surigao. The connection is excellent, but like luvtouallday said. it cost $300 per year. We are going to take a magic jack with us when we visit this summer. No neet to pay $30 per month when you can use magic jack for a lot less!!

I also sent my vonage over there, but I got tired of paying 30 bucks a month, so when my in-laws returned to the PI, I sent with them a majic jack, both work great in my opinion and 20 bucks a year beats the hell out of 30 bucks a month LOL

We sent Vonage in PH last Feb. and we are one of their satisfied customer. Well, yeah we pay $30 a month but at least my family doesn't need to get online to call us plus I can call them anytime I want to. In regards with their service, I can't complain anything about it

Merlaine and I have been using a MagicJack since I came back to the states in September and it works great She had to reformat her computer recently so it was reinstalled and had a little hiccup. I just went to the website and used the online agent chat feature. They had the username and password reset in minutes-back to working like a charm.

Me and my fiance have been using vonage for like 6 months but so far, there's not much problem with it. Only that SOMETIMES my fiance complains, he can hear hazing sound specially when the weather is not good here in the Phil but other than that it's

Nothing wrong with Vonage really ... it just costs more ... and magicJack has the advantage of being really small ... so it is very portable and can be used at any Internet Cafe ...

If Vonage works for you ... and you are happy with it ... its all good ...
