Get whatever kind of tree you like!

I always wanted a black one and have been talking about it for too long now lol

Decided to go with a live tree this year and have silver, black and gold "balls" and some other randon ornaments....whatever makes you happy, its your tree for goodness sakes

the change: it is to be expected, I dont think I ever get it any other way....

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

A white or flocked tree looks cool for a change of pace. But I would not want one year after year.

I prefer getting my change in organized fashion, but you asked if I "hate cashiers . . ." and that was such a loud statement for me to vote yes about. As for people waiting behind, I decided a long time ago that I am going to take those extra seconds to get my belongings and money in order rather than to get flustered, and drop or forget something.

I saw a black Christmas tree at Wal-Mart on Sunday.

I make the cashier give me my receipt separately. That means I'm watching their every move and if they make like they are going to either stuff it in the bag or give it to me with the change, I say "I'll take that please".

Seems to stun them. :P

Keep the white tree to be different...I used to hate them but now I could see them looking cute. Ours is green though.

I liked mixed ornaments but do whatever you think looks pretty.

I don't care about the receipt/bills mixture.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
