Does anyone know why the paperwork would say the visa is good for a year, but the passport one - 6 months?

I guess it really doesn't matter - he's trying to get here some time in the next 9 days.

Ugh! What is the reason for that?

Hubby just received his Visa today. He wasn't home, but the courier left it with his mum - didn't even ask for I.D.!

Congratulations!! Now he can buy his plane ticket :)

AP - still don't know why, probably never will.

Good news! We had our visa and "do not open" package delivered this morning.

We used the invoice number as the tracking number and it worked.

Congrats, now i'm quite bothered, thedx haven't received my visa to deliver at all, anyone had this?/got any ideas?

Mine took 2 weeks to get from embassy to courier company.

Argh :( Guess i shouldn't of booked my flight then :(

It's just weird, all the people approved on the day before my interview have theirs, and all the people approved on the day after my interview are getting theirs :(

I've got until the 20th July really.

Have to have a freakout moment now - he'll be here in less than 24 hours! Omg!!!

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

That freakout moment is getting closer for most of us :)

My visa arrived yesterday at 5:15, i was quite worried it didn't arrive earlier, but all is well :) Brown envelope was stuck down with tape though :/
