Tomorrow night we leave for London for our interviews Friday morning. My nerves are getting the best of me, even though I know that we haven't done anything wrong or left out anything. This whole process is so frustrating, and I'm up to my ears in boxes.. walking around them, tripping over them, knocking them over. I know it's best to have everything packed and ready (so I can get a good estimate of size for shipping companies), but living another 60+ days like this is going to drive me nuts (as if I wasn't nuts already!).

Nope, nothing yet. Our packet 3 was signed for on March 16 so it's been about a month now. I've been calling DOS about once every 2 weeks just to check on our case. Hopefully lots of interview dates will start coming out of London soon!

Good news I sent our packet 3 on the 25th March and it was signed for on the 26th. Dos have now said it has been logged and being processed, hopefully not too long now!

Good Luck - I know the feeling! You will be ok :) I was so nervous, but it was much easier than I imagined. I think it is hard not to get nervous with all the preparation involved I - it is a huge buildup to something that is over in a few hours.

But when its all done you'll be like.... oh... that was IT? ;) and then continue with tripping over boxes. (my husband is currently annoyed that I packed up half of our coffee mugs and we don't move for a month - but, we need to decide what we are bringing sometime!!! :))

Do you work for a well-known company? When David was on FlyBe he was allowed to use his HSBC work ID...

Well known in the UK, 'No'.

In the US, 'Yeah'. :) I'm in good hands there. ;)

I did see that Easyjet allow me to use a driving license yesterday afternoon. Twice the price of Lyin' Air though. Oh well... another cost [well worth paying to get the visa]. :hehe:

How do you check with the DOS if it's been logged?

You call 202-663-1225. Then press 1 and then 0. Just tell them you'd like to check on the status of a visa case and they will ask for your case number and both names. They should then be able to tell you whether or not the packet 3 you sent back has been entered into the system yet. Good luck!
