Just wanted to say a BIG conratulations to every one getting approved and a BIG goodluck to everybody who still have they interviews to go through.

Approved!!! Still in shock. What a day! I'll post up more details later, though I'll say (in an effort to ease the minds of those worried about their own interviews) the embassy staff were all lovely. It wasn't nearly as scary as I'd feared it might be. Actually, it was all very anti-climactic (as many have said before).

Thank you. Right now, still very much in denial. My fiance was in a state by the time I gave him the news today. He couldn't believe the news until I showed him the courier receipt on webcam as proof that the visa was going to be delivered to me sometime soon. I know the feeling-I must have asked my step-father about a million times "did they really say yes?" My fiance kept doing that also all whilst we were talking earlier.

I'm feeling quite stressed about my interview as the days tick by. Its so easy to tell people it'll be fine, but if you're the type of person to be easily stressed about stuff, nothing can help you feel calm.

But I look forward to reading your review! Hope you get your visa soon!

Hey peeps, should we start a 2010 AOS thread in the AOS forum like they did for last year in 2009?

If no one from the UK has AOSed in 2010, I guess so! I just started the interview thread since it was going to be an earlier event for me than AOS

I am just about to start a UK wedding planning thread, coz the Canadian one is a wicked interesting read and I figure lots of us will be using UK suppliers of various bits and pieces....

I got Hindocha's date from his timeline

We started the "approved and waiting for interview date" from our NOA2-->interview thread when we were waiting for p3 to be processed and then eligible and then getting an interview to keep track of people's timelines, which is how we figured out that London assigns interviews once a month (since October). Many people were on that list "approved and waiting" and I'm the last one... but another two weeks and I'm hopeful I'll hear something the first week of February!

Coincidentally, David and I will be in Seattle visiting my parents and doing some wedding stuff, so it would be fabulous if we also learned our interview date then!

Cheers! I am very excited. My wife is currently with me in UK visiting. She came for xmas and new year, which was excellent. I'm nervous of the interview, like any other person on their journey. I'm praying, hoping for that magic approval so that I can start my life with my wife in USA.
