WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I've finally got my VISA it came to my work today so i was jumping around like a happy bunny!!! :thumbs::dance:

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

Hey thanks.... Well i'm gonna get out there for the 20th sept & get the wedding plans into action.. This is the stress starting to take effect now, soooo much to do in very little time.. How is everything going with you?

We first met online 2004, but things started to get serious in Dec 2007. Made my first visit to the USA in march 2008 for 2 weeks. Then returned again in Aug 2008 for 3 months.. Then i came back to the UK for 5 months to return back to the USA April 2009 for another 3months.

1-28-10: USCIS receives I-130

2-02-10: USCIS initiates processing

3-25-10: I-130 approved

-- Two months wasted waiting for case number which was already assigned without notifying us. >=( --

My fiance got his visa on Thursday! Well, got approved, we're waiting for it to actually arrive. We have his plane ticket here now and an actual wedding date and everything! OMGYAY!

Congratulations. So pleased to see you got your Visa :thumbs:

Unfortunately we are still being delayed by all the medical stuff. We have managed to work our way through the list. So far, other than he indeed did need glasses, all other tests have come back normal. Big relief!

Main stumbling block for us, is for the sleep study they want doing.

My son has to see an ENT specialist first...Before a sleep study can be done. Earliest appt we could get is the 24th September. So just twiddling our thumbs till then.

Delays aside, Im very satisfied with the Visa Doctor. She called me a few days ago just to check up on how we were doing and to see if she could help in anyway. Thats what i call service. £200 medical fee was money well spent, because once this is over. Peace of mind, to know my Son is fine..will be priceless.

Will keep you all updated.

Btw for the updater of this thread. Coffeemuse is very naughty! needs to update his timeline. He is actually tied to my timeline. I dont know if thats a good thing or bad! Poor sod :rofl: Hang on in there Hinny (L)

Courier website : 2010-11-2 shows packet enroute for delivery. 1st indication of final approval! Or is it??! argh the suspense!

Visa Delivered <3 : 2010-11-3 K1 Visa packet delivered by courier! *cup of tea to celebrate*

- 2009 Oct 30 NOA1 received

- 2010 Jan 20 NOA2 received (Approval Notice)

- 2010 Feb 4 Notified that approved I-129F petition forward to US Emabassy at London

- 2010 Mar 26 - Apr 15 Met 4th time in person (Fairfax-VA-USA)

- 2010 July 29 Fiancee had medical in London

- 2010 July 30 London Embassy Interview Date (K1 Visa approved pending a laundry list of medial stuff)

- 2010 Nov 2 Courier website shows K1 Visa packet enroute for delivery. 1st indication of final approval!

- 2010 Nov 3 K1 Visa packet delivered by courier! Visa's are in the building and in my fiancees hands! (tentative Jan 2011 arrival)

There are UK AOS progress threads in the AOS section as well.

There's a guide (that's what we used) just like the petition guides, check out the guides tab at the page header. It's not quite as polished, you have to click some links to get everything (like, AP needs some supporting evidence, and it's not in the main checklist) There's also a thread by Vanessa in the main AOS forum with a good list in the first post, so at least not too much digging once you find it. The topic title says it's for "aussies" but really AOS is the same for everyone.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.
