I know this has probably been discussed before, heres the situation.............

Applied for i-751 in September at VSC.

We have been living in the same house since hubby got to USA

My landlords sold the house to another owner without letting us know.

New owner comes over trying to force us to sign a lease raising rent, etc etc you know the deal.

We are getting ready to move at the end of December or early January (packing while listening to Christmas songs is really great  )

I have a feeling its gonna get ugly with new landlord..........

I am scared about our docs and greencard coming here.....we completed biometrics already but you know vsc is slow.

please advise thanks

Ouch, this is a tough one. Why don't you look into getting an infopass appointment and get that straightened out there? I suggest change your address online, print a copy and make an infopass appointment, and when you go there, make sure you have them update your case so that the GC will not go to the wrong place.

Maybe others can pitch in and suggest on the change of address form AR-11. I know some offices accept "in person form drop" but I think they are limited to a few forms.

You can check what forms your local office accepts going through the online InfoPass appointment scheduler.

Best of luck!!!

You are correct - It is a crime (I believe a federal crime) if the landlord does something, but they can't prove that the landlord has done anything with the mail. If you can byte the bullet and stay there for 2 more months (it looks like you will get processed next month as it appears by tracking the approvals on the August Filers thread.

An address change with USPS will also help reroute your mail to your new location.
