Finally up for air. LOL!!!!

I am at work and my baby is at home in bed. DAMN!!!!

Picked him up Wed. from BWI. Traffic was crazy so I left home at 5pm. Arrived at BWI at 720pm. It was cool though. The USO was greeting flights of troops from Iraq. That brought tears to my eyes and took me back down memory lane. Eric called me at 914pm said he just landed. He sounded really excited and tired. He finally walked through the international arrivals entrance/exit at 935pm. Didn't take long, but it felt like it took him a hour. I was getting real anxious. Legs shaking, foot tapping, checking my phone and watch every few minutes. We walked to car. He was like MAN it is COLD!!!! So we walked a little faster got to the car and left airport. We arrived at home around 12ish. He took shower and got fresh, so we could get all stinky and sweaty again. Felt so good not be alone in my bed any more. The dog was pretty upset about having to sleep in his own bed...LOL!! We got up next morning and chilled until about 1030. Then we went to walmart, burlington coat factory, and famous footwear. Got my baby RIGHT!!! We got back home and I started making dinner and of course doing my homework. Eric had this bright idea, that he would go outside and rake leaves, so I didn't fuss, I just said good luck with that. He came in about 2 and 1/2 hrs later like it is damn cold out. His nose was running and his hands were just as ashy. LOL!! But my yard looks good though. We ate dinner Turkey wings, cabbage, and yellow rice. Chilled and watched TV, then more SEXY Party TIME...

Good Morning ladies

My son's b-day party is today, on Wednesday we had cake and ice cream and a few presents with my dad and my step mom and the kids. But today is the real party. Cant wait for it to be over, around 8ish my kids are leaving the party with my dad and hubby and I will have sexy parties all weekend.

Good morning JQ! The comment has to do with the conversation yesterday regarding my SO's son that was born in September. I never said we had any intentions of bringing the baby over here to live with us. I did state that if it ever came up we would adjust and do what was needed to do if we needed to bring the child here. The Mama needs to do her part and Den needs to do his part.

You know I had to catch myself because I was getting a little frustrated with Steve over little things. I gave him the most sincerest apology ever last night. I feel so much better today. I think that in the end, I have to go back to how "we" came to be about, and how much I love this man. I don't get a "monthly" like some people do, but I swear I still get the symptoms of it lol...

Thank you and this morning my kids were talking to me telling me how much they really like Steve. My daughter talks to him about boys! I think she is doing good with him because her biological father isn't in the picture. She said this morning, "Mom I love it when he says "really and truly"! I chuckled because I do too. My son was like "I really bangs wid the boy" lol... I told them see, I told you yall would like him. I just had the biggest smile on my face this morning, Momma done good lol

That is wonderful Mstee its the best feeling in the world when there is peace in the household. We had a positive breakthrough last night I'll tpost about that shortly.

Quick version... Ells hubby’s dad has surfaced since he has moved to the states. He didn’t want anything to do with Lehi when he was in JA but now he wants to reach out to Lehi and try and get to know him but Ells is pissed because he wasn’t thinking about him before. He wanted to get with Lehi for turkey day but Ells said no because Lehi was spending it with her and her family. So now he is trying before Xmas. He wants Lehi to meet his other ½ siblings.

ok..so do we know why no contact while he wa in JA? i thought better late than never? there will come a point where both families will probably have these holidays together? Lehi is a grown man Ells..there let him act and think for himself ...we cannto hold their hands every step they take...we want them to be MEN

Well I'm going to rock it like this...I'm grown and a big girl...I know what's what...at the end of the day, I will be okay no matter what...that's just how I'm built. I've prayed over the situation and given it a lot of thought. I love Den but was never so blinded by the love that I could not think reasonably and make a good decision. I think he is a very good man and he has been working himself crazy to do what he needs to do for his son. He is an excellent father...I can't say what the Mama will or will not do in the future, all I can do is handle myself and hold myself up to do what I need to do as a woman. If I do that, I will never go wrong. I'm going into this with the best intentions in the world. I'm keeping God as the head and everything else will be alright!

Well to my surprise last night when I got in my youngest son was in our bedroom with Hubby playing the Wii together laughing joking sharing techniques have a fabulous time! Mi almost drap pon di floor, had to pinch myself to make sure this was real and not a dream LOL. I felt so good at that moment, Hubby saw the look on my face and just winked and kept on playing. I was so proud of both of them at that moment, # 1 for my son honoring his contract to me with improving his behavior, being responsible, taking ownership of his actions and cooperating with all us all week. #2 Hubby knew that my part of the contract was to restore privileges if his commitments were honored but we had not talked about which one to restore 1st and when. So he took the initiative and was proactive and allowed him to play the video games so they could spend some one on one time together.

My youngest son is trying and that's all I can ask for and we talked this morning on the drive in to school and he said I know its not going to be just us anymore but I can get used to that He acknowledged that Damian is a very different man that his Father and has done for him in the short time he has been here than he sperm donor has done his entire life, what could I say to that but give him the look of love. I hope that this is a positive step in the right direction for all of us and we only go forward and not backward.....

The only thing that happened negative was my youngest called to my oldest when he came in from drum class to come and join them and he refused and slammed his bedroom door.... I just don't want confrontation right now I've had enough, so I chose to step back and let him cool off Hubby said he will talk to him today after school and see if he wants to play as well and see if he will talk to him. Although he refused to sign the contract so I don't feel as though he should be allowed to play but Hubby says he wants to try it his way. So I am praying that my oldest sees that we are making an effort so he should too.. stay tuned.....

Maybe its just me but I don't see why everyone is saying Ells shouldn't be upset. She has every right to be if that's how she genuinely feels. We all react to things differently. Sometimes our emotions just take over like that. Maybe she is thinking about all the time she was "away" from Lehi while going through the process and she feels like being a little selfish and not sharing him. I think its great that Lehi's dad wants to come into his life, he just needs to be a bit more respectful and do things at a more appropriate time, for ALL parties involved. It seems like he is not taking Ells feelings into consideration and Lehi is caught in the middle of it all. We can all sit here and tell her to be calm about it but unless we are in her shoes we can't judge. We can only pray that the outcome will work in everyone's favor.
