why? I love ackee so much when I was a child my dad made sure the back yard had more than enough trees...he also planted tons of breadfruit and neasberry trees also my favorite and tons of sugarcane and plantains...

Because it takes mushy and nasty to me. I LOVE roasted breadfruit though. I don't eat like the yellow yams either. For me its about how the consistency feels in my mouth. Don't like okra either, too slimey!

Well that is just your muscles in shock. It will get better and easier with time. You will even find yourself adding more weight or running on treadmil longer soon. Keep it up and by you a heat pad. That will help out a lot.

LOL I know right :bonk:

Good Morning Ladies.

Philly, DaDa and Bunz all together at one time. Watch out Kingston is all I have to say!

I mamajew and Eric- I forgot about the Fantasia show last night but I watched the Bachelor...Drama!

Hey Dills LOL yuh see it we are gonna have a ball! Partay time!

I'm gonna post another movie soon my manager just gave me more projects so I am starting those now

Morning Yardies. I hope everyone is enjoying their day. So happy to see all of the good news!!! I'm trying to put all the last minute touches for the big day on Saturday. I need to figure out plans for my hair/makeup. I'm getting it pressed today, but didn't want to pay again on Sat to get it done again. I'm thinking about getting some hot rollers and doing my own updo to save $70, but I keep thinking I should just get someone to do it so that I don't have to worry about it. Other than that, I just need a veil/tiara and I think we are set. I had a breakdown last night because it dawned on me that my singlehood will soon be a thing of the past  , but I'm back on track now.

Char I am so excited about your big day and that's right girl work that updo right on out! ( As I snaps my fingers in the air in a Z formation) I can't wait to see the fabulous pics :luv:

Bunz; I remember it like it was yesterday...his funeral was more like a party and celebration of life with his 20 plus kids -- my grandmother also wrote out what she wants --- I haven't read her letter yet. I've had it since May 2000. My mom and aunts were given letters as well, but mine is different. I'm the oldest grandchild and she says, when they get to bickering I'll know what to do. She wrote it after she got over her first stroke. She made my sister and I promise to wear white...all white and a huge white hat. told me not to bother to wear stockings cause she know I don't like to wear them in Jamaica because it's so HOT!

Morning all!

Good luck with the trainer, Just -

Did you all see this?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=236269

Saw yesterday. Wasn't even sure how to respond. So, I didn't.

:help:Yardies... I called a Civil Surgeon about Garfields I-693 and I was told that it will be $80 for the MMR & $50 to fill out the paper. Is this a fair price?

Ha ha.....no one answered you?????

I think that's probably fair. There are cheaper. I've seen much more expensive.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Look at all the PISCES in the HOUSE  !!!

What you all are pisces right  ?

My b-day is Feb. 28th. I'm a PISCES!!!

It's a wedding for 4 days my son is going to Spain in March for Spring Break then Amsterdam...he's gone before when he was 2 and 4...he loves his European family

Oh, that sounds like fun. I've never been to Spain, but I LOVE Amsterdam. I've been there for work like 3 times.

Aww man I forgot about the Bachelor. See too many things on at one time and I was so sleepy. I heard he kicked her off because he thinks she smashed the producer…

He’s cute.

Did anyone ever watch Temptation Island? I used to love that show back in the day.

Ok. i watched a portion of the Bachelor. Why did they kick a lady off because she was messing with someone of the show's staff.

Good morning ladies

:protest: My granny is fighting for her life. Sitting up, eyes open , trying to move her srms, and the doctors said that they have to take the ventilator off her and put in a traeche. Im so mad now, but ima pray because I can go off and the nurses are being rude to my family, but Im that one that they dont wanna mess wit so I tell my auntie ima stay away cuz the police will be called dealing with me.

Ahhh...JQ. My prayers are with you and your family (F) I know this must be difficult to see her this way.

Schools starts for me Tuesday as well :crying: so I'll cry along with you 3 classes and I didn't know BOOKS were so DAMN EXPENSIVE! Thank God for used book stores, but since it's a new major they don't have many used books out there. :crying:

********

JQ -- we were faced with the same decision with my grandfather in 1992 and we could all see the look in his face that he was tired and my family couldn't bear the pain that was in his eyes. He wrote on a piece of paper that (it's time)...we made arrangements before he got seriously ill and he said that we would know when the time was right...it hurt to lose my grandfather, but it hurt me so much more to see how much pain he was in...

Try a website called chegg.com. You can actually rent the book and retun after the semester. Just rented a book for my brother last night.

Im in school also Tre (I got 9 months to go then I will have my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information (sounds so professional)

I just finished my classes Saturday and started new ones yestrerday. And Im almost 30 so so dont speak of being old because I feel it also.

Aww Im on Facebook right now and just got a Instant Message from Damniecy- she never come on here anymore :crying:

BRB going to go IM with mi friend

Congrats JQ. I will be done in May, THANK GOD. I will will have my MS in Pharmacy with a concentration in Regulatory Affairs. Sounds so stately, right. Anyway for everyone that's starting school, hang in there!! It seems like alot at first, but its over before you know it.

You had a mini break down?? Aww just think 2 is better than one.

Sometimes after a good cry you tend to feel a lot better.

Yeah..I cried on Ivan's shoulder and now I feel much better!!!

Did you all see this!! I am dumbfounded at No. 25
