Good afternoon ladies:

Mrs. Palmer: I am sorry to hear you'll are having such a time with getting the GC, but in the end it will all work out.

Remember everything happens for a reason, so it just gave you'll more time to look at job alternatives.

As far as the adjustments, they are just the norm. It's when you are no longer having fun, that would be a cause for concern. But knowing you, the fun is only getting better.

Joel and I are loving and living life together. We will be taking a trip back home in Feb, for 2 to 3 weeks, to celebrate his B-day and our 2ndyear wedding anniversary. I am so looking forward to going to Ja, where there will be some heat, it's very cold here.

Philly: Good luck on the re-newal of vows ceremony.

Dillon and IrieCat: Hello and I hope life is treating you all fine.

Have anyone heard from Marie, she was with our group of old timmer who were going thru the CR1 at the same time.

glad to hear things are going well

I thought they very recently eliminated that requirement, even for women under 26. But don't quote me on it.

I had it done a few years ago. Fortunately, with my insurance, it didn't cost me a dime for the 3 guardasil shots... unless you count the $5 parking fee at the gynecologist's office.

My friend was required to get the HPV for her K1 just last month. She is 25.

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

As of December 14, it was no longer necessary. Either she got it before then, or someone didn't get the following memo:

Sus: I think everyone saw the irony in my post so making it bold wasn't neccesary. But just so everyone know, I swerved and hit a parked car because a truck didn't stop at the stop light and I noticed she had a BABY in the car.

My apology if I offended anyone, shouldn't have used the word "idiot"

However, we all know that if we should drive here the way that they do in Jamaica, that we would get a ticket from practically every cop on the street. They overtake, tailgate, speed, bribe cops and much more. NOT everyone does it but majority of them do because I notice that that's the norm there.

DW&Sus: I too went to Shades and saw that little midget man, disgusting!

Mrs. Palmer, I wouldn't advise you to let him walk around with his green card because as someone said before, the replacement cost is ridiculous. Take him DMV and tell them you want a state id, it looks like a driver's license but instead it says "for identification only"

Also, I believe I read somewhere that if you make colored copies of green cards, naturalization certificates etc and try to pose it off a an original is an offense so becareful.

Everyone: enjoy your weekend!

Well Yardies, our time has finally come!! I just got back from a week business trip to Michigan (cold & snowy), and have today to unpack & pack as I leave for Jamaica in the morning!!!! I'm so excited for our interview on Wednesday I can hardly think straight! Thank goodness I had the presence of mind to get all my immigration stuff together before I left for my trip last week. I'm as prepared as I can be; all original docs, packets, receipts, phone logs, pictures, financial records, pictures, police cert, we pick the med record up on Monday (exam seemed to go fine). Now I'm just struggling with what to wear!!

Well, I have a million things to do so I better run. Wishing all of us with interviews the very best. I'll post & update our timeline as soon as I can.

Sam & Rasta, sounds like you're very prepared. Best wishes & we look forward to hearing the update.

----

So I spent a bit of time reading the IMBRA forum about people whose visa petitions are covered by the Adam Walsh Act. That felt like taking a dive into the Effect of Major Family Changes to Immigration Benefits section. People are going through heavy things over there.

------

Last night, we watched The Pacifier (starring Vin Diesel). I had nightmares based on that story.

-----

Facebook let me know that The Wailers will be at the House of Blues here tonight. Thinking about surprising Steven, but I really don't want to spend the $$ or be in a very crowded place. But he wants to go to some monster car show today. I rather The Wailers than a car show.
