I forgot to ask you, has Louis left yet to return to St. Lucia? Did he make it safely?

He is going on the 21st of Jan for 2 weeks. I am happy for him... but sooooo jealous. He is going to have so much fun!!! So NOT FAIR! :)

I really wish Louis didnt have to work tonight!! :(

There is a "show" in Portland on Wednesdays called "Kill the Karaoke" ... it is Karaoke but with a live band! I went last week on a whim and it was awesome!

I would never get up there and sing but I love cheering on the people (especially the bad ones) and laughing and singing along!

That is how I feel too MrsTee. I’m like hurt is hurt whether it’s here or there and to be quite honest these men here in the states there track records aren’t the best either.

What’s sad about our men here is to me they no longer want to date you they just want to jump in the sack. They have forgotten what is like to compliment a woman and keep romancing her after you got her. Now of course this isn’t all men here in the states but it seems to be a lot of them.

and I think that makes us a unique group of women because we went a little above and beyond the "american" man

Sounds like fun! I never experienced karaoke with a live band until I went to Jamaica and hit up Tanya Stephens' club H20...I love that spot. I try to go every time I get down there just so I can hear folks getting on stage and sanging...they are usually all very good...although there was this one tourist that thought she was the next Beyonce.. :angry: she sounded horrible...lol! Poe thang... :bonk: but I always enjoy the band just performing random request. Of course, I am a tad bit bias since Den is usually on the keys but that's another story... :whistle: I love the vibes of a live band...

LOL! I don't know what the future holds cause I want Den and I to last forever but I think I'm spoiled for the rest of my life...I love me some island men. Before Den, I never would have entertained the idea of dating someone from the islands....funny how that gold suit put it on me and I'm never coming back stateside! :rofl:
