Mawning Yardies, posting the wedding pics now on FB. Our camera went whacky so there are limited pics not sure what happened but thank goodness its working again.

MsSheka, I don't know what you should put in that case...

MsTee, anyone you know with a newer computer probably has a built-in memory card reader. That way, you don't need the cord & can just plut the mem card right into the computer.

:help::help::help: I have a question for you on the DS-230 there is a question "have you ever been charged, arrested or convicted of a crime?, if yes please explain" ok this is the story if you were arrested then set free but had to go to court and all charges were dropped how do you word that? and BTW police clearance shows "no record found" i am hearing from people saying do not say "yes" because police record is clear but the question to me has three parts ARRESTED<CHARGED<CONVICTED, so therefore if you were ARRESTED thats a YES if you were CHARGED thats a YES if you were CONVICTED thats a NO....what do you guys think? please i really need your input on this one :help::help::help:

Ms. Sheka, that is a difficult one! I agree with you, there does appear to be three parts to that question. Not trying to be all nosy but was it a crime of moral turpitude (gross violation of standards of moral conduct) or more criminal charge?

I'm surprised that they don't at my office... but I try to minimize use anyway, since they [supposedly] monitor what websites we go to.

Okay! Big Brother always watching. It's a hit or miss. I've been able to access it before here but then its blocked most of the time. I usually just wait til I get home...lol. I guess I am suppose to be working anyways. :rofl:

Hey Sheka hmmm this may be a Sus question but I would say if there is no record of arrest say NO but if there is a record of the arrest say yes? You may need to post this question in of of the other forums because I don't want to steer you wrong Sis.

YES!!!! Whether he will get it, I don't know. Steven asked for a copy of the form the Dr seals for the embassy & they said they couldn't give it to him. Ideally, he would've then said, "Well, at least update my vaccination record/card." But that didn't happen. We'll see in the next few days what effect this will have when getting a Civil Surgeon to fill out the I-693 sections.

So if your guy doesn't get a copy of the DS-3025, at least have him get the doctor to update his vaccination card.

This is very helpful information. Nat, will you add this and any other info you think is important to the Yardie Visa Survival thread??

I have to remember to tell him the things to ask for at Medical & POE :blink:

His Medical is on Wed.

He went this morning to see them and show them his vaccination card.

It is not going to be AS much as we thought last week, but still pretty expensive.

He went to a few clinics to try and get the shots but they tell him only private Dr. can do it. Something bout the Govt. not allowing the clinics to admin. shots for immigration :unsure:

Anyway, he has enough to go to MoBay Hope on Wed. and get it done. Thank God.

Den will go in the morning to MoBay Hope to get his medical. I instructed him to see if they will go ahead and update his vaccination card! We praying its not too much!! :unsure:
