As you may know, VJ had a brief downtime today. This was caused by a temporary file drive getting full (imagine your hard drive on your computer getting full)! Long story short, the effect was that VisaJourney was not totally offline but the forums were. We have a service that checks the server and alerts me if it is down but in this case it did not due to the unique circumstances. I am taking measures to make sure this does not happen again. Regardless,

We are back up! :)

Does anybody have any remedies for migraines? I suffer from them at certain times and had been doing pretty well managing until the accident, now I been having them almost everyday. I do not like to take pills and lately they been so bad I been forced too. Any Suggestion?

Hey JQ, LOL he is already making the baby plans too.

I get migraines as well. They run on my mom's side.

I usually lay on my back in a DARK room, cool washcloth on my head and reeeeelax.

It has to be as Dark And Quiet as possible. Then sometimes I can fall asleep and it gives me some relief.

On Monday night I was trying to finish my headpiece and cut out a CHUNK of my finger :crying::crying: on the left hand. I need stiches but did not go to the ER. I doctored it myself and put the flech back on. Now im all bandaid up.....Yall know I was pissed....

I know that had to hurt! Ouch....

Thanks. I had to cuss out my doctor today because he would not refer me to a high risk doctor. I wanted to consult with one due of a miscarriage at 20 weeks and I had my daughter at 26 weeks. I need to know if I have an incompetent cervix or not. Needless to say, I got what I wanted and have an appointment on the 28th.

WOW Shemmy I know thats right these Dr's are so lax these days I've had similar challenges so I know exactly what you mean! I knwo you gave them hell!

Well I second what Irie said about the migraines! I get them from time to time. They're no fun at all :angry: The only thing that helps take them away is total darkness, quiteness, and a damp cloth or something to cover my eyes. I usually try to drink

as much water as I can before hand and then fall asleep.
