I like that song and I still crack up thinking of the lyrics that Jonsie's husband used to sing to that song. My all time favorite Christmas song is Last Christmas by WHAM!

Bing Crosby and David Bowie....The Little Drummer boy/Peace on Earth. LOVE it.

Also, Hard Candy Christmas....Dolly Parton.

Good MorningJamerican  Queen, phillyfashionista, finesse, NatPatBen, Dens Wifey, dillon, *JG*, mstee

For some reason I thought yesterday was the 16th. But it was the 14th.

My Grandma was killed in the accident on Nov 13 and her birthday is Dec 17. So the Holdiays are somewhat not so happy.

Its been 2 years and it still feels like yesterday.

Thanks all for the PM's and encouraging words. (F) Nobody has passed away in my family since 1998 so this was an unexpected shock.

But God will see me through it one day at a time and im on day 730.

JQ I would like to extend my condolences for your loss, I too lost my Grandmother prematurely, and I know what it feels like for someone you love to be ripped away from you and you have no control over the situation. Time will ease the pain, think of the good times and not the tragedy. Their spirits are at rest and they don't want us to be in turmoil because of the loss, take comfort in the valuable lessons you learned and the many memories you shared. (F)

yeah finesse thats why i picked those stores, we shop there of course and i know anything he buys we will be able to pay it RIGHT off..

dw.. i don't believe in credit cards either, only had one ever in my life... its kind of a means to an end to establish credit history for a car and then a house, my divorce broke me (hopefully can sell the house tho) and i need missa to have a sparkling score LMAO!

Q you sound like me Sis that's my mission we got plans!

Philly - I was teaching the GS last year about Kwanzaa... I made a couple really nice Kenorahs. I wonder if I have pictures to show you.. you would be proud. I even have some Kwanzaa crafts. A wreath made out of hand cutouts and a woven mat... we made them with construction paper.

I love the whole idea of Kwanzaa and what it celebrates.

Irie I love this the principles of Kwanzaa is universal and should be practiced throughout the year not only during those 7 days. I hope you can find pics I know they are fabulous!

Hi Philly! Yep, my family is a trip! They always got their hands out for something!

Hey Philly, Sis I always say family drama is the worst drama!

So anyone into the Christmas music this year? I haven't gotten into it yet.

Tierra and I listen to the all Christmas radio stations and sing along!

My daughter was mad at me because I was doing karoke on comcast and made her sing along with me. The only one she sang was the twelve days of xmas lol
