After the trial was over I started looking around regarding the case, the evidence, and the verdict and this is what I've discovered so far:

1. The prosecutor

As you know he is currently under indictment. But even more interesting is the reason - falsifying evidence. And this is linked to "his" officer's gathering of evidence. He also had a tendency to manipulate statements made by suspects and twist them into what he wanted to hear (especially regarding the american writer involved in the "monster of florence case")

2. The Knife

First the knife didn't appear to meet the description of the murder weapon and it definitely didn't match a print made on the sheets at the crime. But for argument sake lets assume its still the murder weapon. The dna was not sufficient to meet 9 out 9 forensic experts in a new scientist article recently and even the prosecutors forensic team couldn't lock down that it was definite. One thing missing is that no chemical traces of blood were found on knife which must also be present to have the required level of dna. And anyway police have stated either a glass shard or pen knife was the weapon.

3. The bra

Again same situation with the dna found on this. Also the bra had been shown in photos to have been on the ground for weeks before police picked it up. Now guys...you know how it is with bras....your grabbing at that thing all over the place to get it off...so to have only that little bit on the clasp only is also suspect.

4. The footprint

This was proven to be Guedes

5. The shoeprint

Again proven to be Guedes...he had a shoe box with shoes that matched it.

6. The Bleach affair

This was actually thought to have been created by the prosecutor...no receipts or bleach were found and it was not used as evidence (though it was leaked to the press...so the jurors heard it still)

7. The Sex Maniac

This was created by 3 things. Here's the worst of it. The prosecutor lied to Amanda and told her she was HIV +. So he requested a list of ex lovers so they could be warned. He took this list, leaked it to the press and developed a story around it.

Then there were some condoms and a toy found.

8. He was violent

The prosecutor stated that he had violent tendancies because of a photo of him in holloween gear with a meat cleaver and get this....he had "violent" manga and anime in his room.

9. The computer

The boyfriend when incarcerated told the police his alibi was his computer. It would show he was using it in his home that night...so the police waited about a week before getting the computer...yet someone broke in and deleted files off of the drive ahead of time. Here I wonder if they did a proper wipe with the proper tools. Anyway the site was under watch by the police at the time.

10. The 3 Ammigos.

Friends said that the 2 did not know Guede and intial reports by him made no reference to them.

11. Blood on the Faucet

This was originally said to have been knox but they later showed it didn't match.

12. Guede's dna was EVERYWHERE...and the only dna they could find on the boyfriend was the bra. Apparently Knox had no dna in that room. (in the apartment not the room)

13. Okay so the early confessions and the defamation of the bar owner...I would almost believe these if it weren't for the track record of the prosecutor doing similar things in the monster of florence case.

14. The mop

Somewhat connected to the bleach, the prosecutor claimed the two cleaned the boyfriends apartment of blood etc. Turns out there was a pipe break that night and this is proven.

So how could this drug fueled sex murder have really happened?

Well apparently the 3 had a good time of it in that bedroom. Guede decided he'd have a night out on the town afterwards and Amanda and her boyfriend would sober up and clean their dna perfectly but make sure to leave Guede's because of course they are forensic experts.

And finally, there are rumors that this trial was serving a nationalistic interest. The jury came out wearing the national colors to read the verdict. This rarely if ever happens!

I thoroughly believe that the prosecutor should be the one in prison.

There is one big problem in your theory. The defendant is white. She is guilty.

Well apparently she was not so innocent of many things.. but that does not make her a murder. and not only a murder but cold enuf to slash someones throat.. I dont think she did that. I can not believe they could weigh the evidence and find her guilty. I dont think anything pointed to her and I feel bad for her family.
