I-130; I-485 filing petition for my mother living in the U.S.

Hi everyone

I recently became a U.S. citizen. I would like to start the process of filing a petiton for my mother who has been living in the U.S. since 1,996. I heard that since she is already in the U. S we can submit I-130 and I-485 together. We do not really have the money for an immigration lawyer since the fees for those two applications are about $ 1,400 alone. So if anyone knows about this process we will really appreciate the help. By the way my mother entered the country as a tourist visa B1/B2 holder and stayed when her six months stay expired.
