What if a resident didn't get their ssn with in 2 years of being a resident?

It will serve you well if you put all your questions and details in one post. I have no idea what eles you plan to ask or what other details you may be not revealing until later. All of which could change an answer given earlier.

It will make no difference regarding the SSN. If you have a valid green card, you can get an SSN.

Not if the questions are 100% opposites. People tend to ignore some questions sometimes.

Hey everyone, do you like cheese?

Hey everyone, want to go horseback riding?

I'd rather make two different topics for the two, I don't want my cheese near my horses. :D

I meant about a single topic. You asked if there was a waiting period and then ...What if?

Another risk is that the forums tell us (by theat little black dot) which tpopics we have already answered. I many times answer a question and never return. If you continue to ask questions you may not get answers. It is your question, do as you think best. But then I got my wife's SSN 16 hours after she arrived, so to each his own, I guess.
