Yeah and i forgot to add something .when they put someone under AP they usually give him his passport back .so once you was under AP and they did not upload your passport to their system . they thought they gave you your passport back and now after they done with that ####### LoL they need your passport to issue the visa.

Thanks so much brother you always calm me down not any thanks word is enough for you ,,, i know i been worried and stress and maybe annoying lol but really all i want to hear from them right now is to say ..... YES WE HAVE YOUR PASSPORT ... so easy to say or even say no we lost it we are sorry to let me know whats going on i didnt even thinking to ask about the time for sending the visa so i got crazy and e mailed them three times since yesterday till today its too much i know but its an embassy and i think when it come to important thing like passport they should say yes or no or better yes cause they shouldnt lost it lol , but really your reply make a good sense ,,, wish you hear good news and right now i will cross my fingers for you brother ,, have a great one .

that's a good news man BUT my thoughts to you is not to be so excited and happy until you HAVE your passport with visa on it in your OWN HANDS. i don't really mean to disappoint you but that's how i deal with it , it's all a paper work issue and sooner or later you will have your visa isA so just calm down and use your mind .

it's actually a good news that they asked for your passport and that for me means that you are out of AP congratulations in advance but wait until you have it in your hand because they might send it tomorrow or next week or the week after but i am sure you will get it during December isA

Thanks disconnection so much , i know we cant be so excited till they send it on our hand ,,, i hope it came during this month , i plan to sending them too a letter on their mail box to warn them that they have my passport already on there just in case to be sure they gonna look for it and give me the right answer if they have it or lost it ,, i will also call them again this coming Sunday they asked for it to let me know about my passport ,, isa all of us will hear good news so soon , all of you in my prayers ,, have a good one , thanks again so much .

I didn't have time to read through all the responses, but just wanted to tell you this: The same thing happened with my husband's passport, they kept it at the interview and then later emailed asking him to send it. I emailed them back and told them that they kept it at the interview, and they said thank you, and it was just a form-letter response. They sent it to everyone, even those whose passports they kept. He ended up getting the passport back with the visa in it about 2-3 weeks later.

wow Amy they did the same with your husband now i feel more calmer , you know i was ready now to go to dhl them a letter telling them that they have it on there now i think to wait till tomorrow cause they ask me to call them tomorrow to get an answer about my passport , thanks so so so much you really make me more calmer and less worried now also when you said about the time frame that your husband get the visa after this make me get big hope to getting it same time ,, have a great one and thanks again so much .

Hello everyone ,, just want to make an update for whats going on ,,, i called the embassy today and asked about my passport then the guy told me dont worry it cant be lost since you left it here so its here then i asked him is that means i'm out of AP for sending me an e mail asking to sending my passport even its there then he said yes once we asking for that it means we working out to issue your visa soon ,,, so guys i just got an e mail from them today here i post it :

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail message.

We acknowledge receipt of your passport. Please note that the case is currently pending consular officer’s review.

Regards,

Consular Staff

so now i'm calmer about my passport cause they said its there already but my question is .... for saying the case pending consular officer's review does that means as the guy in the embassy told me i done the AP and they working for issue the visa now or it means nothing change at all , wish you can explain it to me please , thanks everyone , have a great one all .

Yup it means you are outta AP .the CO final review is the last step before they issue the visa .

The CO in charge of your case is reviewing your case now to make sure that everything is ok and in order before they issue the visa .

Inshaallah you will get it soon .hopefully next week .

I agree with Hot Guy, mounir. i think you'll be getting your visa soon. when we were in consular officer final review it took about a week, but I have heard of at least one person who was on final review for about two months. either way, it should be soon.

Thanks Amy so much ,, hopefully i can get it soon i just was wondering because on the first e mail they sent me after i done my interview they were telling me the same (pending consular officer review) then they change it to your case is pending AP then sending me the e mail asking for my passport and now telling me the same as their first e mail so its kinda confusing ,, i hope they really working to issue the visa now , thanks so much ,, have a blessed day .
