hi everyone , wish all of you doing well ,, today we called the DOS and says the same that my case still pending Ap but then when i checked my e mail i found that the embassy sending me an e mail here i put it :Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail message.

Please send your passport to our office via DHL courier service to enable us to continue processing your case.

so i'm so confused and worry cause they kept my passport already on my interview which was on OCT ,22,09 so how come they asking for it now .. is they los it ? is it a mistake ? is that means i'm out of ap ? i e mailed them telling them that but that freak me out dont know what i can do , please help me and sorry for being annoying for asking much but really i dont know what i can do , thanks so much for all of you , keep everyoner on here on my prayer,, have a blessed day all .

since i didnt get any reply yet for this topic ,, i tell you some of my thought , should i make a new passport ? should i wait to them reply me e mail i sent to them saying you have my passport already on there ? should i send them a letter regular to their mail box telling them that ? is it a good sign even they mistaken asking for my passport means i finally out of Ap ? just a thoughts , i'm sorry everyone for asking bunch of questions just confusing and excited at the same time ,, have a good one all .

If they're asking for your passport, it usually means that you have been approved and they want to put the visa in your passport.

No, absolutely do NOT order a new one.

You need to contact your embassy/ consulate by phone, if possible, and talk to them about the fact that they already have your passport. Did you reply directly to the email they sent you, saying 'you already have my passport'. You should also send a letter, maybe just a copy of your email and theirs, so that you can be certain that they will receive your communication.

Also, call the DOS again and find out if the embassy has updated your status with them.

That sounds like you have gotten your Visa!! I would send an email to them telling them that you left your passport with them at the time of the appointment, and possibly call them to verify that they have it because it make take a while for them to open the email.

That just may be a "notifying" email that they send out when you are done with AP. Good luck!!

Thanks so much for your kind reply , i will try to call them but the embassy here is hard to talk on the phone they always asking you no no just e mail us cant talk on the phone about this stuff but i will try any ways ,, as you said i will sending them a letter to their mail box , will call DOS again tomorrow , thanks so much , it give me some ideas and will wait for making a new passport till i get an answer from the embassy telling me whats going on , thanks so much , have a blessed day.

just i want to tell you yes i reply directly to the e mail they sent me then i said to them you already have my passport ,, i will send them tomorrow a letter it might be a faster way to warn them i will even use DHL to sending them the letter , thanks again , best of luck to you .

He says that they are just waiting for the CO .which means my case is under CO review .and they don't know when she will be done with that .

I even asked him if there is a chance that she will deny me after all of that time ?he says every thing is possible so who knows .

ohh Mohamed brother i just pmed you ,,, i wish with all my heart that they done your case so so so soon and issue your visa as i told you i hope that we both ride the same plane same time i will pray more and more asking GOd to all of us ,, i just before ten minutes ago called them and for the first time the lady who answered my phone was so nice with me , i asked her about my passport telling her all then she asked me about my case number and my name then she said well our system doesnt show if your passport here or not ... are you sure you left it on your interview i said to her yessssssssss i'm 100% sure then she said well i will write a note to them telling them to look for your passport ( dont know what does mean them is there another people or what ) then she said give me your cell phone number then i gave it to her then she said well keep follow us by next week to get inform about that but sadly brother i forget to ask her if the system now show my case out of AP or what now i blame my self hard to not catch this good chance with a nice talker to ask , so brother do you think is possible they lost my passport ? or even sending me this e mail by mistake like that dont mean this one was for me ,, any ways i wish with all my heart you hear good news so soon ,, take care and have a nice day.

They did not loose your passport .as what that woman said to you .their system does not show if they have your passport our not .'' well they don't upload the passport to their system cause i guess its illegal to keep the passport at the embassy if they will not issue the visa soon '' i even asked the guy at the embassy that yesterday .cause they have my passport since Aug .he says well we can keep it for a year but we can not keep it more than 3 days for the tourist visa . he even told me if you want your passport we can send it to you and then when we need it to issue the visa you can send it back to us what a smarty pants !!

When she says that she will tell them i guess they will tell the CO in charge of your case that they already have your passport . or to whoever will issue the visa .

I don't think that they sent that Email wrong to you .

Well usually when they ask for the passport it means they are done with AP ad they ready to issue the visa .

I know what you thinking about .they sent me the same Email and they asked for my passport in July and here i am still no visa .every case is different bro .

that's a good news man BUT my thoughts to you is not to be so excited and happy until you HAVE your passport with visa on it in your OWN HANDS. i don't really mean to disappoint you but that's how i deal with it , it's all a paper work issue and sooner or later you will have your visa isA so just calm down and use your mind .

it's actually a good news that they asked for your passport and that for me means that you are out of AP congratulations in advance but wait until you have it in your hand because they might send it tomorrow or next week or the week after but i am sure you will get it during December isA
