I know that from what I read you need 12 months worth of pay stubs for the consulate. I however have only been drawing income from my current job since August. I was in college in the spring in summer. I had a job for only a few weeks back in February but I'm wondering if I would need those paystubs, or would it not matter?

12 months worth? WOW, I have not seen anything stating you need that many. I sent about 5 (I am paid bi-weekly) of my most current stubs. We had no issues at all and she passed in July 09. Don't forget IRS transcripts and W-2's for last 3 years.

Unless thngs have changed from last year.

You only need last years Taxes.

Send a couple of paystubs and do a letter from an employeer.

If you don't have an employer, then start your own company (Cost around 10 dollars at your local courthouse) and do your own Employee Letter
