If you do court another girl, or even if you stay with the same girl, I would have a background and investigation done on her.

You can get them done fairly cheap thru the PNP.

Bottom line is. Can you Forgive and Forget.

It would always be in the back of my mind, Yea it's cool she fessed up, but we all have skeletons in our closets and some things in the past should be kept locked away.

I would maybe re evalute your situation, and ask yourself do you really want to marry a poor girl from a poor family.

There are plenty of well educated girls in PI, that come from good families that have money.

If it were me, I would look for a nurse or nursing student, Since they can't get a work visa to USA, Since USA is and has been under Retrogression on Nurse Work VIsas for the last couple of years and should remain for a few more years.

There is an abudance of nurses in PI, whom can't find work.

They don't need to pass local Exam, they just need to pass the NCLEX in USA to be a RN.

Either way, you are on the right path looking in PI for a girl.

You have many things to consider beyond shock, hurt and anger. She may have told you to get the guilt off her mind, a good thing. She may have told you to initiate your anger, thus forcing you to go your separate ways. She may truly love you and simply wants to clear the slate, risking it all to be honest. Or, the ugly negative way to reason...she had so many strange men for money..that she is not capable of a wholesome realtionship with anyone being de-sensed by giving up her morales.

Years ago I had a good friend who married a high class call girl from las vegas, altho she was a 500 dollar trick for a couple years..the woman was glad to be out of the business and turned out to be a very good wife for the next 20 years, so not all that is bad turns out bad. Now here is the kicker, she said its been on her mind for a very long time and wanted to tell me this so she can clear her conscience. During our conversation out of the blue she told me that she needed to tell me something, she said she used to work at a BEER HOUSE and would have sex with men for money, she claims she only went out 3 times till she no longer can take it as she was starting to lose respect for herself. Should I be affected by this ? should I lose sleep over this ? right now I am in a world of confusion and so much thoughts are racing thru my mind.

You don't have anything to worry about because she probably won't get the visa anyway, in light of this. She will need to answer "yes" to the following question on the DS-156:

Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty or other similar legal action? Have you ever unlawfully distributed or sold a controlled substance(drug), or been a prostitute or procurer for prostitutes?

i think rsn's post #23 is the best advice. my thoughts - unless you plan on living there, it's unlikely she'll get a visa due to moral turpitude laws. if you don't plan on living there, then you know what you need to do.

i came from a poor family in the Philippines too and i was a single parent before i met my loving and very handsome husband.I worked as a call center agent before,i had polyps (CYST) too that time but never did it crossed my mind to work as a Prostitute. It is actually our choices that define us as a person.

I don't understand why we (myself included) look at prostitutes like they are less than human? The only thing that differentiates them from women who sleep around or have casual sex or one-night stands is the money that is exchanged. There are plenty of women in this world who sleep around.

I don't understand why we (myself included) look at prostitutes like they are less than human? The only thing that differentiates them from women who sleep around or have casual sex or one-night stands is the money that is exchanged. There are plenty of women in this world who sleep around.

To me it's kinda like the girls whom work in Topless or totally nude bars in USA.

Most of these chicks are either - Coke Whores, Speed Whores, Lesbians, or they are just Fvcked Up in the Head. Bottom line they have low moral and have made poor choices, and will probably continues these poor life choices in their future.
