Does anyone have any suggestions to help me with for sending off with my removal of conditions application to prove that I have been living with my husband since we got married? Apart from bank statements and tax returns, what extra things do you suggest sending off that they can see that we are indeed married and living together. We have a 19month old baby which should be proof but I'm just looking for anything extra to send.

Thanks

Hey winterr! How are you? I remember we went through AOS "together" :).

I used the copy of the cover letter from VJ to help me, along with other couples' posts. This is what we included:

  • Copy of the passport and green card of immigrant
  • Copies of the driver’s license of both USC & immigrant showing identical addresses
  • Two sworn affidavits by U.S. citizens, a friend and my mother, attesting to our relationship and marriage
  • Copies of the bank statements from Bank of America and Chase for our two joint checking and one joint saving accounts
  • Copy of the cover letter from our 2008 income taxes along with the Federal Income Tax Summary for 2008 and 2007
  • Copy of the first page of our lease agreement for our current residence
  • Copy of my benefit statement and change form for 2010 showing joint vision insurance
  • Copy of immigrant’s insurance cards [to show why he is not on my health insurance - he has his own at a much lower rate]
  • Copy of our family automobile insurance policy
  • Copies of account information showing our family plan for our cell phones
  • Copy of the account information for our car payment
  • Copy of the registration for one of our cars in both of our names
  • Copy of our itinerary for a vacation planned to Colombia
  • Copies of boarding passes from a trip to New York to visit family and friends
  • Copy of an envelope from my sister which had family photos enclosed
  • Copies of Christmas and holiday cards from my grandparents. parents, and a friend, dating from 2007 through 2009
  • Seven pictures from 2008 and 2009 of us as a couple, as well as with family and friends
I highlighted what was probably the strongest proof.

Good luck!
