My name is Faisal khan i am from Pakistan, my fiance is from NY USA.

My story is some what same like others,

She visited , we did engagement and i received K1 visa interview call, in the interview councilor kept my passport put my case in administrative processing and said you will hear back from embassy in 45 days.

She is from Indian/Mumbai and i from Pakistan/Hyderabad

I had my k1 visa interview on 5th of Oct 09, its more then 45 days, when i call to embassy they said 45 days not over, we said 45 working days so wait more.

Every one know the condition in Pakistan daily bomb blasts in Islamabad and other part of the country, Today i visited the courier guy to whom i filled the case to forward it to embassy, i asked him about giving visa by the embassy, he replied these now days embassy hardly giving visa and not even single k1 guy got the visa who filled during time period when u filled the case. and he said due to worst condition in Pakistan embassy is not operational, i don't know how much truth in his words.

My question is whats going on in the embassy no one knows either they are even processing the cases or just making delays to delays.

Do the care for others or any relations of peoples ???

I heard that December is end of the year so more chances they give visa to people any comment on this....

Is there any thing i do to help embassy process my case quicker.

When ever i call to embassy they reply your case is in administrative processing no care how many time you call, you gonna hear the same answer.

If my finance visit Pakistan and visit the embassy does this effect on the case or it will help to get visa quicker ???

Any person can help me to understanding i am freaking becoming out of mind, on other hand my fiance is also worried.

Problems...

You are counting days. Stop. The embasst doesn't.

You are gettung advice from courier guys. Stop. You will get your visa or you will get denied and a reason and they will tell you. It will happen when the consulate is ready.

I can completely understand your worry as I am in the same place as you. Me & my fiance have filed for the K1 visa and his interview is in 15 days. I am sitting here in the US just worried sick about his safety the day he goes for interview at the embassy :clock: and how long they will take to give visa if they do at all. The best we all can do is present our cases honestly and the best of our ability and they will see the relationship and love we have for our soon to be spouses' (wife or husband) and we need to STOP listening to everyone's "opinion" about visa being given out (especially your fellow paki's). Only Allah knows the outcome and certainly NOT some delivery person who is CLUELESS :huh: . Try not to torture yourself listening to things people who have no idea what is going on is telling you and who isn't even going thru the visa process that we are. Administrative Processing and worrying about bomb blasts everyday is enough to handle. :wacko:GOOD LUCK & WISHES FOR A FAST JOURNEY TO YOUR SWEETHEART.
