He or she was asking because if you did come here on a K1, married a USC, then divorced her and went back to Morocco to marry a Moroccan woman, it will raise suspicions. The shorter the previous marriage (esp if the divorce came soon after citizenship), the harder it will be to get a visa for your fiancee. That's not anyone here being judgemental, it's reality. We need information so we can give you the best advice.

Relax - if people here had a problem with people from other countries, they wouldn't be on this forum. And the person you're being nasty to is either Moroccan, or married to one.

Mike, I meant no harm to you. But I was thinking if you came here to marry an American woman and divorced and now are engaged to an Moroccan it would be a HUGE red flag. It's hard to give any advice when we only know a little bit of the story.

Hello everybody,I hope somebody can help me .my situation is : I m 34 years old I'm us citizen from morocco. Went back home to get married with Moroccan girl. So my famille show me this girl by the way that 's the most common way to marry there. She's 19 we get engaged a week after that. I came back to the state I filed for k1 approximately month and 1/2 between engagement and filling.everything is fine between me and my fiancée we talk everyday on the phone letter ...my k1 still pending I didn't know about redflags before . So what should I do ? Withdraw my petition to avoid the denial ? Or take my chances with k1. Thanks

How long has your K1 been pending? When did you send your application? Have you received the NOA1 ( notice that they have received your petition and entered it into the system) ? It's possible that everything is fine and you are just moving through the process (which does not always go quickly) Best of luck to you both!

i think u needed to get married in Morocco , they may use it as excuse to deny ur K1( i mean that u r Moroccan in the end and K1 wont work for u ) good luck anyway
