Hey guys. I'm new here, but I sent my AOS on 12/15/09 and was received 12/18/09. I wonder how long it'll take for my NOA to come?

My NOA1 took 8 days to be issued. I signed up for the text/email alerts using that new form, so I got notified that way. The cases showed up on the website about 24 hrs after I got the notifications.

Just got the biometrics appointment letter yesterday. I'm sad that the place is so far away, though (30 min). We'll try to walk in on this Wednesday after my job releases me early, so I can hopefully avoid taking a day off to go down there.

So in Florida, they let you get a DL with the proof of AOS filing? That's nice.

In Texas, you need to be a legal permanent resident or have 6 months+ on your visa.

YES. I was told that as long as I have my NOA, i could.

We went to the DMV a week before and was told that because my I-94 was expired I could not take the test. That I needed an "updated" I-94 (which you cannot update). So, I'm waiting for my NOA to come.

We'll see, they might turn around and tell me another BS and turn me down again.

I got my 3 email notices today, but they all said I should be getting my NOA for my I-765 only. It didn't say anything about my I-485 or I-131. Anyone else receive this?

Also, just curious... but anyone else get a court marriage only? My husband and I did and we don't have any pictures... I'm a little worried about the interview because we have no pics, but we do have other documents.

I finally mailed in the AOS forms yesterday on December 21st. Count me in for another waiting process. It was nice to have a little break. Take care everyone and good luck!

Also, just curious... but anyone else get a court marriage only? My husband and I did and we don't have any pictures... I'm a little worried about the interview because we have no pics, but we do have other documents.

My notices mentioned each document.

We got married by a justice of the peace, but we took pictures. I imagine you have many opportunities to take pictures before your interview, esp with the upcoming holiday.

Thanks for getting back to me Actually, I re-read the emails they actually didn't say much besides receiving my paperwork and gave me different receipt numbers for each USCIS confirmation. Soo, I guess that means they received all my paperwork! Thank god

As for the pictures... we don't have a camera either and when we do have events, for some reason, we never even think of taking pictures. But we have a joint bank account, I'm on his insurance, same address for bills etc. Hopefully, it won't be a problem

Received NOA emails and text messages with case numbers today, but they are not trackable on the website yet.

We were able to log into the website when we got our paper copies of NOA1. Good luck!

Mine also showed up online the day after the texts/email.

Today, we walked in early for my husband's biometrics appointment after my job let us off early. We had to check with the site supervisor on whether it was okay, and based on the # of people there, she let us do it. I was happy, as that saved me from having to take a day off in a few weeks.
