Hey quick question... does anyone know how moving may affect one's status? I was living in New York City but then moved to Northern NJ earlier this month... so my new USCIS office is now Newark. Anyone know if this will delay the interview? Any threads that may deal with this? I've been searching the forums but can't find anything.

USCIS is notoriously BAD at changing addresses. Be sure that you file AR-11 (pretty sure that's the right form, double check). You can do it online, or on the phone. Then follow it up in a week or two. If you miss your interview because you didn't get the notice because they didn't get your change of address properly documented --- As Gary says, Doesn't matter if they screwed up or you screwed up, it's YOUR problem! Be sure you stay on top of that, as we are getting interview notices and GCs left right and center around here!

EAD arrived today, with same approval date as AP - 67 days.

Now for the interview in 24 more days.

Well I had an infopass appointment about a week ago and they do have my updated address and my new EAD card was sent to my new address. So it seems to be okay... I guess I'm just wondering if going from the NYC office to the Newark office will delay my case (processing)?

I got my EAD AND AP around 14th Feb, bt nothing happened ever since. My case was shifted to CSC IN jan end. I tried to subscribe uscis for my case status email and msgs, but no response whatsoever. May be i am doing it wrong way..

Please help and lemme know how do i go about knowing whats happeneing. i applied in december 1st week.

Thanks Nat! I received another text message yesterday, March 1 saying "Your case MSC########(which is my EAD) is now updated. "I checked online and it showed that this EAD is under Decision and that they sent a notice of approval in the mail. I am now waiting for the said notice to arrive. Wish me luck!^^ Congrats for the rest who successfully finished this part of the journey.

I received a notice today, March 3, but the notice date on the paper was Feb.19,2010. Hope EAD will come next this week!^^

Congrats to the ones who have gotten approval in either AOS, AP, or work permits.....

Yesterday, we got the so called "touched" on our AOS case... I would assume it's because the file was being sent or it arrived at the ATL office already.... on the other two fronts (work permit and AP) no news nor updates as of today... which kind of sucks, given that we've been waiting for over 60 days.... but anyhow... good luck to everyone in whichever stage you are....

You can try to give USCIS a call and just ask why is there no updates on your EAD and AP. As to my experience, I gave them a call 40 days after my biometrics and the very next day was touches on my EAD and AP.
