Anyone have any idea how long after EAD and AP we should be getting the green card?

The site doesn't have anything that compares (despite my request).... but in the Immigration Timelines section, it says they're working on I-485s filed on October 24.

So I figure at least another 1.5 months, maybe longer for me since we had an RFE.

After all the TB stuff, we finally got the medical done and will be mailing it off today! Woo-hoo! I just need to include the medical along with the RFE, correct?

I feel so bad for all the AOS filers who had to do the medicals twice. it really makes me angry. good luck attaya_girl...

another question. I got an email today, saying that:

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. (CSC in our case)

how is it possible that this process is faster than my AP and EAD? Those two documents werent touched at all for almost 2 months now!!!

Does it mean it is ONLY the I-485 they are processing and all the other documents are in different offices or was our whole case including the AP and EAD transferred to CSC? I really dont understand it...

EAD definitely waits on Biometrics. You got your biometrics on the same day as us, so it really should be on it's way to you at any time. Maybe everything got put on hold for the RFE response? Since your I485 is moving, hopefully the AP and EAD got a kick start too. A lot more went on when we got our case UN-stuck from the RFE than just moving the I485 along - both our EAD and our AP were approved when that guy looked into our case.

Hey there,

If you will check my timeline you can see that we filled actually also on Dec 31, and received our NOA1 on Jan 9th (dated Jan. 6th) ....and also no biometrics yet..... nothing.... I started to worry myself too.... I even called USCIS yesterday and the guy told me to wait until Febr 9th... 30 days after receiving our NOA1...and if no news by then about biometrics appointment...to give them a call back.

So don't worry..... you are not alone out there..... I hope this delay doesn't mean anything wrong with our paperworks or AOS

Please keep us updated if you get any news...

thx

Hi Andana,

I feel a little bit better then. Might just be the Dallas office that is too slow. Anyway, hubby called on Friday and asked to have them follow up on our paperworks. They told him we should hear something in a week or so. Hope so....

Will keep you updated. Please do the same.

Thanks...

When you call USCIS, enter 1, 2, then 3 and you'll reach someone.

LaBeba,

Just curious, when you got your Interview Letter did your online status change? I recently moved with the hubby and am worried that if I got an Interview Letter it's stuck there.

Congrats on getting the interview letter! That was super quick :)
