Hey everyone!

Congrats on the transfers!

Just curious...for those of you who sent in your RFE's and they were delivered, approx how long did it take for USCIS to send you an email to acknowledge they received it?

Mine was signed for on Monday and I still haven't heard anything...

I sent my RFE (birth cert) on the 20th jan, they signed for it 22nd jan, and took file off of hold on jan26, first ead card production jan28, second card production EAD dec3. I know three of us that sent rfe's in on 22nd. We have almost exact same dates.

Oh okay thanks Dec09filer, that calms my nerves a bit. So I guess I'll wait until Monday or else I'll call.

Also, anyone move in the interim of their AOS? I'm moving tomorrow because of CRUEL in-laws... anyone have a problem retrieving their USCIS mail?

Thanks in advance

Nat,

I got the same update via e-mail and USPS about the I-485 transfer. I can't wait until he starts working. Of course that is still on hold until after we come back from Jamaica.

Hi everyone!

Congrats to those who got their EAD/AP approved!

I'm starting to worry. My EAD and AP haven't been touched yet. It's still on the "Initial Review" status for the longest time. My I-485 said that's it's already in the USCIS office where it will be processed. All 3 cases were not touched even after the biometrics and it's been more than 2 weeks. Is this still normal? Anyone here experienced this?

They received mine on a Tuesday, per USPS tracking. I didn't get anything until the following Tuesday. It said that they received it on Thursday, so I guess it took 2 days to process the mail.

Thanks NatPatBen! I feel less worried now, though I'd feel much better if they will touch the cases. Maybe I should stop checking USCIS online status everyday. It only makes me feel so anxious... :bonk:

You only check it every day? I check at least 3 times a day: before work, during lunch, after work. Sometimes again before bed.

Booooo to USCIS!

I got all excited wen I saw a text from them, thinking AP was approved.

But nope! Just a[nother] message saying that EAD card production was ordered today.

We'd already got a text about that 3 days ago, saying it was ordered on Feb 2.

Wow! I sometimes do it twice a day and my husband thinks I'm obsessed about it. You're more obsessed than I am. LOL...

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this thread and was wondering if anyone out there is in the same situation as we are. We filed on December 31st and received our 1st NOA's on January 6th. However, we have not heard anything since then. No biometrics appointment letter yet.. Is this normal or should I start panicking.

Your input will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey there,

If you will check my timeline you can see that we filled actually also on Dec 31, and received our NOA1 on Jan 9th (dated Jan. 6th) ....and also no biometrics yet..... nothing.... I started to worry myself too.... I even called USCIS yesterday and the guy told me to wait until Febr 9th... 30 days after receiving our NOA1...and if no news by then about biometrics appointment...to give them a call back.

So don't worry..... you are not alone out there..... I hope this delay doesn't mean anything wrong with our paperworks or AOS

Please keep us updated if you get any news...

thx

ROC

If it's any consolation, we received the AP today in the mail. No online approval, text, nothing. It may be on its way,
