Guys we received an update on our case (text message at 10:45pm). The EAD was approved and the card is in production!! :dance: Also, a touch on the AP.

I didn't know they sent the texts that late. I wonder if they have a cutoff time.

November 19, 2007 - Met

November 25, 2008 - Engaged

November 25, 2009 - Married

November 24, 2011 - Baby due!

THANKS! We got them in the mail Saturday, and you are spot on about adding 1 to the number on the back of the check. The other two were not consecutive numbers with the one for the i485. We are off

Hey congrats!!! Please let us know when you get your green card... my wife's interview is next week... and we are traveling overseas in three weeks, so I hope that the agent allows us to keep the AP.

It is so exciting that December fillers started to get their EAD's and AP's :dance: .... it seems like USCIS moves really fast....

Tomorrow we have one month since our package is in Chicago.... and guess what... no biometrics yet... I hope it's not lost in the mail somewhere.... fricks me out already...... sorry...just sharing my worries here...

Got actual AP and EAD card in the mail yesterday! My husband was so unbelievably happy...he just stared at the EAD card for seemingly hours. It was good to see the relief on his face...that he can finally start working now.

Congrats on your transfer Nat! I believe your AP and EAD are already on the way...just no updates via email yet. :thumbs::blush::wacko:

Andana why don't you call to find out if you have a bio appointment? Can't hurt...

Jun 01, 2010 ~~ Greencard finally arrives w/approval date 2/23/10 (Huh??)

Do you guys know if I should call the local USCIS Office to inquire about my biometrics or the Chicago office?... searching now the right number to contact them....

My RFE was delivered this morning to Lee Summit, MO. So hopefully, I'll be getting my EAD soon once case processing is resumed.

Applied for VAWA (incomplete package) April 6th, 2010

VAWA application received April 7th, 2010

NOA1 received April 16, 2010 (dated April 9th, 2010)

Prima Facie received April 21, 2010 (dated April 12th, 2010)

Sent out complete I-360 case including I-485 June 14th, 2010

Received email stating will receive a response within 60 days (probably either RFE or approval/denial) June 18th, 2010

I-360 touched June 19th, 2010

I-360 touched June 21st, 2010

I-360 touched June 23rd, 2010

Submitted I-765 July 2nd, 2010

I-765 touched July 8th, 2010

I-765 touched July 10th, 2010

I-765 DENIED (sooo pissed!) Aug 2nd, 2010

I-360 touched Aug 12th, 2010

I-360 touched Aug 27th, 2010

I-360 touched Aug 30th, 2010

I-360 APPROVED!!! Sept 7th, 2010

I still have no news on mine. Just one touch for biometrics. Is it worth calling USCIS? Would they know what's going on? Or maybe I'm just being impatient. :unsure:

03.05.2010 - I-485 APPROVED, "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident"

03.11.2010 - "Welcome to the US of A" letter arrived

03.12.2010 - PR Card arrived

Dec. 5, 2011 (Monday) - Is the date when I can apply for Removal of Conditions

We got AP in the mail this morn, nice but since we aren't going anywhere soon what we really want is the EAD. Roberto started applying for jobs last Friday. Criss cross your fingers that we get something soon. Three months is a long time to live with no work.

EAD card arrived today.

It's valid from the same date that the NSC guy replied to our congressional inquiry. I sort of feel like everything (except AOS) got pushed through at that time.

We also got the NOA for the 131 which says it was approved. (Also on the22nd) I certainly hope it was approved -- as we already had the documents for a couple days!!!

Anyway, kicking into gear now - Nik's going to start getting out there - starting with getting registered with a contracting group and renewing his AZ DL.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

Hey guys, great news. We received an interview notice today for March 9th! :dance:

I am so happy for you!^_^ I noticed that we have the same date of bimetrics appointment which is Jan.7 but since then, nothing else transpired except the touch they made on my EAD and I-485 on Jan 8. Hope I will hear from them soon also.^_^

The USCIS site says "On February 2, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you." It says it could take 30 days to receive it but it just takes a few days, right? It seems like people in this forum got it quickly after they were approved.
