16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Yes you can bring, I placed it in my hand carry, and in my stop over in Japan they scanned it. Then when I was able to use it here in US, it was not working good. Too bad.

**** She could have the interview as early as Jan 7th but decided not on the rush for medical and for me to have time to forward all the document in the Philippines since I didn't pay or submit anything at NVC

1-30-14 Visa Received

1-31-14 Immigration Fee $165 paid

**** We need my mom urgently but due of the cold weather in Minnesota, we decided to wait for warmer weather. She could be here as early as Feb....

There is no problem in bringing a laptop thru customs. Just be aware, that a computer can be treated JUST LIKE a suitcase. If customs has reason to look into your laptop THEY CAN. So, for shady guys who take naughty pics, they might want to look into those PC's. The law has been tested on this, and laptops can be confiscated for analysis if there is any reason for suspicion. For the common person with nothing to hide, there is no reason to worry. I have brought thru 2 laptops at once when I bring one for my girl. No one ever looked twice. WELCOME TO USA! :dance:
