Hi everyone Good day, im new here and have few concerns about visa application.

I am married about 2 months ago to the father of my 1 year old daughter whom i know for 5 years already. He wants to take me US and wants to start the Spouse visa but has not started yet because of the worry that the Fiance visa that was filed 4 months ago by another sponsor could be a problem.

Ok i know it sounds complicated, but let me try to make it easier for you guys to understand if possible. My husband and parted ways for few months before we got married because of some problems, i happened to have a friend i who eventually fell inlove with me and immediately filed for fiance visa, i agreed to that because i didnt see any hope that my husband now ( ex boyfriend at that time) could get back to each other again, i mean i knew we had separate lives at that time. Months after he came to PI to see me and because we have a child daughter we couldnt just stop communicating as simple as we wanted to. We both realized the love is still there and that most of the problems we had was because of the distance since he is basically in the US and im in PI. We decided to start all over again and got married and i know i broke the other's guy heart but it would be more unfair to him if i would marry him and deep in my heart i know he is not really the one i truly want to spend the rest of my life, i am just being honest. At first he wished me and my husband happiness and was really kind atleast in words. But later on he became a problem because he demanding to have a refund on the cost that he spend for visa application and attorney's fee, which i know was not really the issue but he made it clear to me that he only wanted me to continue talk to him which may jeopardize my marriage and i avoid that. He said he asked the lawyer if there is a way he can stop the application and the lawyer said no, so evidently the papers are just there. Of course i wont show up for interview if there was and i dont know what he would do from his end to say take revenge since that is really what he wants to do. My husband is kind of waiting for few more months til the usual processing period for fiance visa is over, but we also feel that its kind of wasting time when it would not be a problem for my spouse visa that he is going to apply.

From reading old posts here, i am surprised of how you guys are very knowledgable on this matter and i need any information that you can all impart. My questions are:

1. Is there a way that the existing application can be cancelled?

2. Will that be considered void if i will not come to the interview incase i will be called?

3. Should my husband start applying for my spouse visa now?

4. Can that guy do something to jeopardize my spouse visa?

Thanks so much for taking time to read my concerns. Me and my husband really want to be together ASAP knowing that most of the problems we had was because the distance. This concern about my visa thing has really affected me a lot that it just stopped me from time to time and start worrying about it...
