Hi guys,

We had an AOS interview last month 18th and we were asked to submit my husbands (USC) former wife's death certificate. So we sent that document on the next day of our interview which was the 19th of November and we also have the confirmation that they have received the same.

However we haven't received any mail stating that they have approved my AOS papers. But that IO office told us " Assuming that you are going to send that death certificate and I approve this case you will receive the 2 yrs conditional green card". So we were not sure what is the next step we need to take. Because she gave us the 30 days period for that document to sent.

We also have 11 weeks baby and we provided her birth certificate at the time of interview. Can I get an infopass appointment? Please help.

Assuming that your response was delivered on the 20th there have only been 9 or 10 working days since they received the document. The IO needs to process the document and if approved the letter will be sent to you.

The IO's comments seem very positive. I encourage you to be patient. Yes, the waiting stinks.

Thank you so much. I just called NSCS to inquire about my case and the automated message stated " On Dec 4th 2009 11.40 am Card production ordered and allow us 30 days to deliver the card". what a coinstance. Thanks a lot.

Thank you to God.
