I-864 - Including Visa Applicant's Income

My husband (the visa applicant) will be continuing employment with the same company he currently works for once we move to the US, so we intend to include his income on my I-864. I'm assuming we need to provide proof of the income he has earned, along with proof he will be transferring with the company. Will a year's worth of pay slips and a letter from the US office suffice? The letter would include a projected start date, but probably not his salary as it has not been negotiated yet. Is there anything else we may want to include?

Without the salary amount there is no ongoing income for the CO to evaluate.

Hmm, that's what I was hoping I wouldn't hear!

My income on it's own for the past three years would be enough to cover the requirement, but I'm unemployed as a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if that changes things when it comes to evaluation.

Our assets (savings) come close to covering 3 x 125% as well, so maybe we're already covered?

I suppose all I can do is send in my husband's employment letter along with the above (plus pay slips) and see if they would like additional proof. By the time they respond to that we should have an actual figure sorted out anyway.
