Hi ALL,

Do we need to send Original PCC with DS230 or ceritified copy will be ok.

For DS230 my wife is mailing me following document. Let me know if we missing any thing.

Completed DS-230 part I & II and ONLY part I signed by beneficiary.

Photocopy of the beneficiary's passport biographic data page.

certified copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate.

certified copy of beneficiary’s and petitioner’s marriage certificate.

Certified police certificates of the beneficiary.

Not sure about India, but for Pakistan they asked for all originals so I sent original birth, marriage and police certificates.

Yes you need to send Original PCC for DS230 and also a copy of the same. You need to send copies of all ORIGINALS you are mailing along with DS-230.

Original Document Requirements

The applicant and each family member who will accompany the applicant to the United States will need to submit original documents or certified copies of the documents listed in this section from an appropriate authority (the issuing entity).

Photocopy Requirements

In addition to sending the original documents or certified copies of the documents to the NVC, the applicant and each accompanying family member must submit a photocopy of the original documents or certified copies of the documents.
