Hi , Mark and Carol I was blown away with the change in price after we already paid. I guess it just bad luck. I won't think about their stupid little fee increase if we are approved, it will be a distant memory at that point.

I am leaving out on Tuesday to Bogota. Your interview is approaching and also the finishing touches of Panamajack's. Good luck to you I have wondered where you have been lately.

I have been MIA for a week now as I buried a long time friend 2 days ago who died over the Memorial Day weekend and I am just recovering from the funeral now...

Mark y Carol you will see Maria in line #3 at 6:30 AM.. Her latest pic is on my profile so you will not miss her.. Good luck to you and Carol . I'm sure you will not need it as my case was a complicated one so thus a second interview..I fully expect the visa to be granted on the 17th. as we met the requirements of me getting the DAS certificate... Mabye you will get lucky and not have a 6 hour wait to be called as Maria and I did on May 12th

PS: Did you still want Maria's cell number?? If so call me you have my number....

Hi I just want to share the good news. I just had my interview June 3 and my fiance and I are so happy that we made it! Just waiting for the visa to be delivered hopefully within the coming week. The long wait is finally coming to an end. It is definitely worth the wait. For those still waiting for their approval, I am so sorry to hear that and VSC should really do something about it. I really do hope things will fall into place for all of us.

Thank you so much and the same to you. Wow, 8 months is a long wait, I know you are going to enjoy your time together. It's been 2 months and like a week since I was with my baby. It's hard to breathe without her. I am tired of the distance. I hope she is here asap.

Can anyone guid us? in nvc he trying to keep calling in NVC but call center say wiat for 2 week's??? now the update is we got a noa2 hardcopy but we dont any idea of what going on in NVC??? anyway can explain me this?

If that is what they told him then after all the time you already waited then give it 2 weeks more..

You will be OK in the end...Look at the $hit that happened to me at my interview.. That set me back 5 weeks.. And I flew all the way to Colombia to attend the interview and the consulate still made another problem for me/us...NVC will do things their way and you cannot rush the process. There is no explination for how they do things...Be happy you are at this stage and just wait it out...

You will be OK in the end...Look at the $hit that happened to me at my interview.. That set me back 5 weeks.. And I flew all the way to Colombia to attend the interview and the consulate still made another problem for me/us...NVC will do things their way and you cannot rush the process. There is no explination for how they do things...Be happy you are at this stage and just wait it out...

The RD is a tough place to get an approval...I should know because I have a Dominican Cedula and lived there for most of 2007 as I have a home there...You were very lucky..Best of Luck to you in the future I wish you and your fiancee the best..

Why are they telling you 6 months? when we all filed last December the wait time was listed as 5 months and not 6 months.As far the RFE's most are cleared up within 60 days and that is for tough cases...I am sorry to hear about this.. Have you contacted your congressman yet?

Panama...

1. I also had seen that the AVERAGE processing time in the VSC was 5 months... But when I called them the day that I completed my 5th month, they told me that they go by this list... OFFICIAL PROCESSING TIME

2. I never received a Request for EVIDENCE... I actually NEVER have received any communication from the VSC, and the USCIS webpage shows that my file hasn't been touched since December 31, 2009... I was lucky enough to talk to a guy one time on the USCIS 1-800 number that actually sent a request for SERVICE to the VSC asking for THEIR action because my petition had not been touched for so long. But now, as I stated in my previous post, whenever I call the USCIS and inquire about my petition (Receipt Number), they tell me that I have to wait 6 months before they'll do anything (see No. 1 above). When I call and inquire about the Service Request that was sent to the VSC, they tell me that I have to wait 3 months before they'll do anything (see details in the timetable on my signature area).

3. I contacted one of my senators about a month ago, and he told me that I would have to wait until the official processing time expired, and then their response may take 1-2 months... I just sent an e-mail to my other senator yesterday. If I don't hear anything from her soon, I will follow up. So basically, no help from the senators so far.

Any ideas? Any would definitely be appreciated.
