As I posted in the other thread CC2 .. The embassy sent me an E-Mail saying something totally different unless they were referring to my case only. They were not very clear as usual. Sorry for any misinformation I passed on in the other thread...

This is just about as much as you would pay for a break job + oil change + maintenance on a car at, say, 30K miles.

yer the new price sucks, but at least we had been warned so we were able to include it within our budget just in case we needed to pay it. As my interview is July 15th I will have to pay it but to be with Alex its worth it... you can't put price on love.

Hey Jenine, long time no see! I hope you've been keeping yourself busy! So what's the time table for you? After you interview on 7/15 are you going to the US in a week or two after? Milagros is finally due here on 7/7 and I just can't wait.. I've been cleaning up the place which she's affectionately dubbed "nesting".. :rofl:

I don't post much cos i don't know what i am going to tell (hmmmmmmmm)almost same posting (waiting waiting waiting) and now, i wanted to know if the USCIS is close this day in (May312010) i heard its (memorial day)

its been 5 months now since he file the petition and stil no noa2.. so he should call (uscis) but he didnt yet cos we though it would be useless cos uscis is close.. is it close?

Hey guys... There's still some of us that have not received our NOA 2... It has been a long, hard wait... And we're STILL waiting... But something happened today that gives me a glimmer of hope...

I called the USCIS to find out why I couldn't log in to my account... I wasn't planning to inquire about my status because I have already called a couple of times for that reason and have just gotten the "canned" response about having to wait at least 5 months before they can do anything... (5 months for us will be on May 28) Anyway, after the guy explained that they are having problems with their webpage, he asked me if there was anything else he could do for me... I figured, what the heck, so I asked him if there was any way that he could check the status of my petition.

He actually looked in the system and noticed that "officially," the Vermont Service Center is currently working on January 9 petitions... So my petition is actually 9 days beyond the "official" processing time. Therefore, he went ahead and sent a Service Request to the VSC to inquire about my petition.

We are very happy about something/anything finally happening... (Although I know this is not much, we haven't even had a "touch" since December 31, 2009)...

Does anyone know about how long it takes for the VSC to act on a Service Request? Is it possible that our NOA 2 is finally coming?

Anyway the last info in his petition is when he sent his rfe since April 13 and during that day. they gave us a touched April 13 to 16 after that nothing news....

Hi tine, good luck to you and I hope you receive your NOA 2 soon. I know they say it could take 2 months after receiving the RFE response to make a decision. I overlooked checking one box , and I received a RFE but it was something very simple a yes or no answer. So I received a touch everyday until I was approved. But if your RFE was something serious they may take the 60 days , hopefully not. They do not look at the 5 month timeframe when they receive the RFE response , they will tell you we have 60 days to make our decision, Trust me I know I called.

thank you.. im looking forward negatively about in june 13 it will be 60 days then. and my question do u have idea if what if in over 60 days we didnot recve noa2 what we need to do?

You should probably have your hubby call the USCIS directly to find out what's going on if there's no response after 2 months of waiting..

Hi,

I agree with Jared and May to call. Do everything that you can. Bug them, complain until they respond with your NOA 2. They are suppose to send you a letter with their decision at the end of the 60 days.
