Congratulations to all ! I have read your good news. To those who are still waiting on the NOA 2 approval, don't worry about who is ahead of you at the current moment. Our interview is in June but she will probably not be here until August. I have seen some people here after they recieve their visa in hand wait many months to be with their loved ones.

JJ... I guess you're right... The only difference is that we still don't know if we're going to be approved... If you have your visa in hand, at least you know it is just a matter of time before you will be with your sweetie.

Nevertheless, thanks for trying to help... Not knowing really sucks, and talking with you guys definitely makes us feel better.

got my interview date, June 10th at 8am but seeing as i am in the usa then i have to change it for another day...what sucks is i included a letter stating i would be unavailable for interview from june 9th to july 1st.

Maria went to Banco Helm in Bogota on the 14th. and she used the DS-156. she pre-printed them online and took 2 copy's with the barcode on them with $131.00 in Pesoes.

I found info about the DS-160 form on the DOS website. Here is the link: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/forms/forms_4230.html

"The U.S. Embassy and Consulates listed below require nonimmigrant visa applicants (excluding K-1/2 fiancee and E-1/2 Treaty Trader visa classes) to use the new Online DS-160. Review this important guidance:"

Colombia is on the list, but according to the previous quote, K-1/2 fiancee visas are excluded. I am going to print this page and take to the bank when we pay the visa fee.

The key word is non-immigrant...which means you plan to visit not immigrate to the US. This confuses a lot of people, because they think that they are a non-immigrant, which they are but they are applying to immigrate to the US, therefore you must apply for a immigrant visa.

Managed to change my interview to when I am back in the UK, my interview is on July 15th at 8am
