On Igor's list it shows E & G sent 12/14/09, received their NOA2 on 01/20/10 and Ashton and Neil sent 12/12/09, received their NOA2 on 01/19/10. I think I'm reading that right, at least I sure hope I am because it was a bright spot on my day!

December '09 has seen some action lately, so maybe (crossing fingers). If you had a touch, means someone is at least looking at it.

Still, it'd give me comfort to start seeing November approvals flying and see them wrap up October too.

Once again, VJ is a very small sample of how many K-1s are actually there in VSC and how many are approved each day.

Yeah Id be more comfortable too seeing oct and nov get more approvals as well....these are some lucky december people getting approved so quick...I wonder if it has anything to do with the country of the fiance they are trying to get the visa for, just curious....oh well!!!!

I'm with you. My timeline seems to change everytime I look at it. I just laugh because I refuse to get upset. B)

Hopefully, VSC will be more consisent with their approvals in the future.

Can anyone tell me how you notice a 'touch'. I signed up for updates..but have never gotten anything. Does that mean my application is lost?

I didn't receive email/text updates for touches or NOA1, only got email/text for the NOA2.

Most people will report that they don't see touches on their case at all. They're just all of a sudden approved (or RFE'd or whatever). While it's nice to know that someone came along and waved their little electronic wand in front of your file, remember that touches don't mean anything. You've got your NOA1, so they've got your package. VSC is just taking their sweet time....

When you login to your account on the USCIS website, look at the "last updated" date. That is the last time they touched your petition. As Megger said, touches don't really mean much.

Another NOA-2 for a spanish country [CUBA] on 1/29/10 from the Dec.09 filers. Filed on 12-14-09 and NOA-2 already!!!!
