Just got a text and Email, we have been approved at VSC. Now what? LOL

I think all goes to the NVC next? Anything I have to do? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Cary and Jim

Call the NVC in a day or so to find out your NVC Case #... 603-334-0700

Follow Mapt's instructions below:

==============================

Ok, just a little sidenote, for everyone who calls NVC in the future - you HAVE to talk to an operator.

K-1s are not entered into their automated response system.

So when calling, press 2 (for non-Haiti related case), 1 for English, 5 for an operator. Then you will be placed on hold.

Have your EAC/WAC number ready. Your beneficiary's DOB and name, and your DOB and name. Emails for both and your phone #.

================================

After that it'll be a few days and then you can call the embassy and schedule the interview. Congrats, we're almost there!

CONGRATS!! :dance::dance: The VSC will forward your petition to NVC. In about 3 days, call the NVC to see if they received your petition and if so, request your new case #. The number for NVC was provided in an earlier post. NVC will then mail your petition to the appropriate embassy.

What you can do now is get ready for the interview...gather all your evidence and have your SO apply for police report and start completing the proper documents.

Good luck.

Thanks for your sentiments. Any idea where to get this phone number for NVS? Do I already have it somewhere. I assume 3 days are work days, so like next Tuesday or Wednesday?

We are working with someone located in Cebu, Philippines so I think most if not all the paper gathering except my financial information has already been collected.

I have already forwarded the Email to their office and I am waiting for a response. It is 11 AM tomorrow there. How bazaar is that.

Thanks Jarad and May. Have you scheduled the interview and physical? This is not Cary's night, her cam is not working and she is experiencing a black out. When I got that touch this afternoon all this suddenly became real to me. Then I started with did I miss anything? was I truthful? Thank goodness they didn't decide to torture me for a couple of days or the weekend. I don't know what I would have done. I'll post how I make out.

Great news. I need to email the embassy to see when they received mine...they should already have it.

How's Maria getting along completing the P3 documents?

Mark,

She finished them today and she is ready to fax them in as soon as they have the file in their system. Thanks for the help with that on Sunday.. :thumbs:

No need to E-Mail them ........NVC gave me the phone number to check on it..

Drew,

I already sent the email today...besides, the embassy only accepts calls on Wed. from 2-4pm which is not convenient for me.

Glad to hear everything is moving fast for you. You will probably schedule an interview date before me, cause Carol has not received her Packet3 yet and I still need more info for the DS-230. I'm hoping to fax in her documents before April 15.(fingers crossed) :whistle:

It's nice to hear that everything is moving fast for most of you. I'm sorry to be off topic but we are getting kind of worried coz until now no news on our NOA2. It's weekend again, two long days again until monday. The wait is getting harder and harder. :(
