Okay,I think you really cheer me up,I am going to be banking on your posts.Cos right now am terribly depressed, and oh no! it has nothing to do with VSC coming to a halt when it comes to us November Filers,I am just depressed because my fiance lost his job, there is way too much suffering and corruption in my country, earthquakes and terrorism...arrgh!

Sorry for digressing, but does it ever happen to anyone here, just a plain feeling low about everything?I am very snappy today, sorry.

But I think everyone here is a hero.period.

I'm really sorry about the job situation I hope and pray that you both can get it sorted out soon so it doesn't effect an already stressful time in your life. We all get low now and again just try and focus on the end goal of being reunited with your loved one, make sure you talk about whats on your mind, don't bottle it as things will only get worse that way

good luck

I was working on petitions way before VJ was here.. I did 3 of them of different types but with VSC.. Also I helped a few friends with theirs back in 2001+2002... I can't believe what ####### people talk about on this website...Everything and anything including getting a puppy on the plane and we want the visa quick to do this so it doesn't have to ride in cargo..#######?...... I remember asking you a few questions last month because I am too busy to become familiar with everything about the works of this website..Do not tell me to calm down because I am calm .. You know nothing about me ..Also I am not your bro... We don't ride together... You have me mistaken with somebody else.. Don't like what you read here? then don't comment.. You started your own thread. November VSC...It is obvious that I am not saying anything to offend anyone here or the moderators would have stepped in by now.. I am not here to play games.. VSC is pissing me off as this is my 4th. time dealing with these people..And I paid so much less back then and got so much more from them at the time..So I see things differently than you do...This is not my 1st time dealing with what use to be the INS...... This website represents only a percentage of people..Not everybody that files knows about VJ.................... How many thousands of other people are also in this and not counted because they do not use VJ.? Did you ever give that any thought?

PanamaJack,

With your claimed vast wealth of knowledge in visa world people could gain a lot from your experience, however your presentation skills rival Attila the Hun. This forum is used for many different reasons, whether insignificant to you if "Fluffy"rides in cargo it is obviously important to someone else. You are too busy to learn the inner workings of the website however you read posts that you feel are "#######". I read your post, it was my option, just as it is your option to not read any post you deem "#######". The only other comment I have is in reference to the fact that not all of the visa filers do belong to VJ. While this is true, the numbers at VJ represent a large enough pool to allow viable averages, and probabilities.

To everyone else,

Good luck with your visa journey...there appears to be no rhyme or reason to this process. I can remember the pendulem swung from VSC being quicker to CSC then back to VSC. The forum is very useful in answering questions and assisting you with next steps, it is a valuable tool, learn from others experiences, use the search feature.

Take Care

As a 30th Oct VSC filer I thought I perhaps this was my thread. Sadly for me, I'm clearly not welcome here.

The originator of this thread has stated that people who are concerned about the welfare of dogs, and who exchange valuable information on this site to prevent unnecessary suffering of animals, are talking #######. Not saying anything to offend anyone? "#######" You sure about that? Animal welfare issues and concerns discussed by highly responsible pet owners obviously makes the originator furious. Wouldn't want to be responsible for inciting his rage any further. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of any Incredible Hulk who hasn't been attending the anger management classes situation.

Don't worry, I won't be back here.

ps -" We don't ride together". Hilarious.

PanamaJack,

You commented on a post in the November 2009 filers, VSC about a person concerned whether their puppy will fly in couch or in cargo. Why are you commenting about this in December K-1 2009 Filers VSC? Maybe you should heed your own advice and "don't comment if you don't like what you read". This site is designed to educate, provide information, and provide a forum for members to exchange information and to talk about any topics they wish to discuss, not to trash "the system". I hope that some day you will find happiness.

I will be the first to defend animal rights.. I have a 12 year old Collie /Shepard Mix who sleeps in my bed and eats before I do and also travels with me. My dog always comes first. Mabye I should not have included that phrase in my comment to megger..I even devote whatever time I have to a local animal shelter..To all animal lovers out there I apoligize for this remark.. If it is between me getting a new part for my bike or my dog going to a groomer/vet or whatever she needs, believe me when I say I go without it till my best friend is happy and healthy... Everything else I said is how I see it.. I better call my doc and refill my Xanax.....

PS.. " Anger management classes " Hilarious.

Your right...I did not realize that this website is very useful to people who have no clue as to what happens next or what to do. I was talking out of text because I have dealt with INS now USCIS more times than I care to remember since 01.. I will heed my own advice . If it make them feel better to vent things that have no association to the Visa Journey as it is called then who am I to comment..I just returned from Bogota a few days ago and was treated like a criminal at the airport for making 3 short trips to Colombia inside of 9 months. I doubt that anybody cares about that. It has nothing to do with getting my petition approved...........I'll be happy when all this is over..It is so different now than it was in 2001+2002.. This Imbra thing is what I dislike the most because I have 3 convictions for the white stuff..They never asked this on the old petitions and I am worrying about how they will approach this even though they are 20 years old and I provided all the required ORIGINAL certified court records..This issue plus the extended wait times other than what I am use to is really getting to me................

I can understand your fear of how IMBRA will affect you. Have you found any similar situations here in any threads? Also, was it for 3 seperate convictions or were the 3 all related to one case? I think they make a distinction between that. I am assuming your issues dealing with the airport were on the US side because my bags, carryon or checked, are always searched leaving Colombia. In 6 visits to Colombia I have dealt with questions and searches on 2 occasions upon entering the US.

It was 3 seperate convictions over a period of 5 years..And yes the problem was at Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey.. I am familiar with the process in Colombia just as you are . First they check it as you get your boarding pass then after you go into the customs area they check again with the X-Ray machine and just before you get to your gate they have the long tables set up with 5-7 guys hand checking your carry on one last time .... one time they even had a german shepard there sniffing at you and your bag.But when I got to Newark airport they swiped my passport and said COME WITH ME... They took me to an elevator where I was met by 2 ICE agents who took me to a room and asked me if I was ever arrested before and why. Of course I knew they had this info in hand already so I answered honestly..YES! And it was for Blow but that was 20 years ago..After they asked me where I worked , what am I doing in Colombia ...I was told to have a seat and wait here...30-40 minutes later they called me to an office handed me back my passport and said have a nice day and then let me out a door that led to the main terminal..And Yes I posted a question here 3 months ago asking about if anybody had this problem and nobody answered.. I guess I am the only one who ever did anything wrong..

Welcome to the club. Unfortunately at this time, approvals at the VSC are very slow. It's probably safe to say that you will receive your NOA2 by March and have the interview in May. There are exceptions, but this seems to be the norm. Good Luck and be patient.

Welcome to the club. Unfortunately at this time, approvals at the VSC are very slow. It's probably safe to say that you will receive your NOA2 by March and have the interview in May. There are exceptions, but this seems to be the norm. Good Luck and be patient.

thanks, I believe we will see a lot of progress in the next few weeks. The holidays probably set things back a good two weeks.
