We finally received NOA2 today!!!! This is wonderful news.

NOA1 Dated: December 7, 2009.

NOA2 Dated: March 16, 2010.

We are awaiting letter and interview....

We will marry on November 19, 2010 in Thailand.

CONGRATS!! This is awesome that so many of us are being approved.

Just wondering if you went to check your case status by putting in your case #. The reason I ask is because after I got the text I logged in and all it said was last update 3/16/10 but nothing about being approved

After you login to USCIS, click on your case number and it will display your status. My status was changed last night.

Thanks for your congrats Mark. And let me tell you, you are so right about the weight being lifted off your shoulders! I cried when I saw it said approved.

Looking forward to celebrating with the rest of you as well!

When I read the email, all I could say was OMG, OMG. I too cried when I read the word approved. I think all of the pressure finally came out. What a relief!!!

Hi Matt,

I hope you receive the NOA2 very soon. I was very surprised to see ours today. I kept thinking of all the possible mistakes I might have made in filling out the papers. Fortunately it worked out.

Well it's still a good sign, at least we know they haven't placed it in an unknown location. Yours is coming soon, I can feel it!!!!

Hi all. I have no idea how this works. We have a receipt date of 12/30/09. I have not heard anything yet. How do you find out about "touches"? How do you get to all these time lines? I certainly will post if I hear anything especially if this post is successful.

Have you logged into the USCIS website? It will tell you when your case was last updated.. Anything later than "January" is a touch..

Yes, I have logged into USCIS and inputed my case number, it just says initial review.

No, what you need to do, is create an account. Then add you case# to your portfolio.

Then you will see "last date updated". Which would be your last "touch"

Hey thanks, my keyboard doesn't make characters like that. I did establish a portfolio for our case number. According to the site our last "touch" was 1/3/10. Are you from Philly? you have heard nothing either since the beginning of December?

I live in Abington now, but yes, I used to live in Philly proper before.

Our last touch is 12/10/2009, so yeah. Any day now.....any day now or 30 days from now (from my crazy data plot thingy )
