Eh, VSC is working at a slower pace at the moment.

My projection (this is somewhat scientific) is for the week of 22nd is when they are going to start doing something in December.

Igor's list is nice and all, but there's people who don't keep up the timeline, and they've been approved.

I'm going to wait until VSC posts their January numbers on their website before I make any other claims as to when we should start drinking less (or more).

In any case, it's been quiet here for a bit. I noticed... I assume people are starting to feel the strain of waiting, that comes with a 3 month mark (or 2 month, or 1 month, it's different for everyone).

Just try to stay positive. Start getting your financial paperwork. Find out about police reports (most of them are valid 6-12 months, depending on a consulate)

And when you get your NOA2, I expect you come shouting to this forum You KNOW we will be happy for you!!!

I noticed that several filers in each month do not have a timeline nor a profile assigned to their name. These people probably abandoned their membership and we will never hear from them again. I wish VJ would remove these filers from the list and send them an email stating this. I do not look at the processing times, they are meaningless, or the timeline dates...I look to see how many people have been approved. Of course, Igor's List does not get updated unless the approved filers update their timeline, but it does give you an idea as to what dates VSC is working on.

I agree with your timeline of March 22nd. Also, good advice about getting ready for the next step in this process. My financial paperwork is complete except for the letters from work and the bank. I told Carol to apply for her police report and the certificate of migration and I'm going to tell her to get the passport photos and notarized copy of birth certificate. The more we can accomplish now is less we have to do later and the faster we can schedule the interview.

I will cover for Matt until he is ready to perform his duties...I'll even drink an extra pint or two for him.

I got my police thing done as the UK ones are valid for a year, will get the photos done when i get paid and Alex has the I-134 pretty much done and will post me it as soon at the noa2 done along with a new letter of intent just to be on the safe side....

VSC are being a little slower theis week...i think they much have had to much fun over the weekend and are now trying to remember where they left of in between napping....talk about napping i had a customer fall alseep at work tonight during a film and nothing i did woke hime up...guess the movie wasn't that good lol

Yeah, I've been kind of lurking on the boards as opposed to posting.. I'm a little worn down, too many late nights thinking and early mornings chatting. My fiancee is in a nursing review course so our chatting time is mostly during my morning routine.. It's a tough stretch, and I'm not headed back to Phil until May 1st.. To be honest, I'm more on edge about seeing her, than worrying about the NOA2..

I figure it'll come sometime in April, and I should be able to have the visa in her hand mid-June.

lol they were showing the preview of green zone tonight and its was a sold out showing, well when i went in to clean up the screen for the next showing some guy just wasn't moving so i went up to him and tried shaking him awake and nothing....luckly his chest was rising and he was making a noise to resemple snoring but still we got the manager as nothing i did woke him up...she came in touched him on the shoulder and bang he was awake!!!!! must have had the magic touch lol...still something funny to make the night go a bit quicker.

I am not sleeping either, I am just so anxious because of the waiting. I have a better understanding of why Rum helps to pass the time, but I still do not drink because I think I would feel worse then. When we receive our NOA2, I will drink to celebrate!!!!! Everyone has been talking about their next visit...I have been twice and I cannot go again anytime soon because it is so expensive (plus I have used all of my vacation time), so I will not be able to go with her to her interview. If I did not need to get a Visa, I would probably go because there are direct flights to Moscow frequently. Because of the expenses incurred with the Visa, invitation, etc., a $600 ticket becomes $1,500 easy. We decided it would be better to save our money now to make everything easier with the additional expenses of the wedding and AOS.

I just checked the Nov filers thread and they've got a few approvals in the last couple of days! (thrilled for them ) So VSC is showing sings of life which is good for all of us. We should see celebrations on this thread too for the early dec filers we'll party hard with you!

Jim, the late dec filers have some distance to go. Don't let it get to you. I'm don't expect anything until April. ( 21st Dec NOA1) So relax and focus on other things. I've been asking my fiance to start working on the I-134 and have kick started my police clearance. Its taken a month already and I have one more city to cover.

I have a question.... yesterday my fiance, who is living in Paris at the moment, got a phone call (to his French cell phone) from a woman saying she was with US Immigration and asking him to confirm his name and some other general info and asked him to confirm my phone number also. Has this happened with anyone else? We thought it was odd. My lawyer said it was unusual but not unheard of.

I've head about this, but it is quite uncommon. Might have something to do with the country of residence, etc.

You can't go by VJ estimates. CSC has also been cranking out February together with Nov/Dec/Jan.

It's chaos, basically, and a lottery.

All we have to do is wait a little longer, we're almost in the mid-March now, so half-way through!

Very odd indeed...I have never heard of this happening before. At least you know that they touched your file. Mine hasn't been touched since 12/09.

Expect to wait 4 months...it makes the wait much easier. Most of us have realized that receiving your NOA2 in 2-3 months is over and that our wait will be 4 months or longer. Luck of the draw.

The good thing about is - we are, for the most part, past 3 months of wait. So April might be our month of happiness.

Hell, even if we get it in May, it's hard, but we'll get it! We all will!
